It's an American made product that is reputable.
I enjoyed having this hatchet-axe as its a necessary tool to have when you go camping, hunting or for emergencies that happen unexpectedly.The quality of the axe is great and I have used it to chop small sized tree limbs for fire wood. This particular axe is for small applications yet to each their own when it comes to making the best decisions you see fit for its use.The company is reputable and if you do have any issues with it, call their customer service dept and they will do their best to help you as I've had family members who have owned their axes for many years (1970's).

Great axe
This is a great little axe from Estwing. It's sharp, lightweight and the all metal construction and grip are superb! Estwing makes great products and this axe is no exception. The sheath is heavy duty to. Great little axe for camping or whatever you need it for. I highly recommend it!

Sturdy
The sachet is the perfect size and weight to take camping. It has a comfortable handle and a good heft.. as a bonus it comes with a nice sheath. (I didn’t realize this and ordered one separately.)

Good All Around Camping Hatchet
This is a good little hatchet for camp chores. Its all-steel construction makes it heavier than some other hatchets of this size, so it may not be the best choice for backpacking. However, the extra weight seems to help it when splitting firewood. The rubber grip also helps dampen shock during use, which makes it much more comfortable when using it for long periods of time. Out of the box, it appeared to be well made, but the edge definitely needed some work. After sharpening, it chops well enough, splits well enough and drives tent stakes well enough to earn its keep in camp. It's also still made in the USA.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! THIS IS THE AXE TO OWN...
Purchased two of these Estwing Axes. One for me and a second one for my Sister. Great Axe at a great price. Will use around the property and kept with my survival gear. Not too heavy but not too light and razor sharp!!!***MADE IN THE USA*** The minute you pick it up you'll know you made the right choice!!!
