Been playing with it for a week and I am very happy with it, I set it to 1080 p and with three days worth of many hours worth of footage it was only about halfway full for the 128 gig model. The microphone is great I even took it to the shooting range because I was worried gunshots would blow out the mic but all good. The night vision works great especially as dash cam. The way it clips onto attachments is great because it slides down off the clip so its easy to switch between dash cam and body cam, which I suggest you order the magnetic body cam attachment from the same company, its strong enough that I can attach it to a thin jacket I like to wear for work. Overall very impressed, something with this many features would have either been unheard of or too expensive to own just a few years ago. Very much worth the price.

Item arrived on time and set up was very easy. Came mostly charged and with decent usable accessories. Instruction manual is easy to follow in English with readable print. Camera has more features than most would use. The playback screen is just big enough to see what you just recorded. Image quality is alright, you won't Win any awards but good enough to hold up in court. Night vision needs some more work. Probably will need a small secondary light source to improve the picture Overall a pretty decent camera and if it's on sell a definite buy.

I bought this unit after my neighbor accused me of going onto their property and chasing and threatening them. Reality was their dogs charged me while I was in the road. While wearing this camera once again their dogs come accross the road to charge me. This time I peppersprayed them. The neighbors called the authorities to complain that I once again went onto their property and accousted them and sprayed their dogs. I had already given the video to authorities and would have LOVED to hear their response when the officer said "Well, I have video of the encounter." LMFAO. The dogs have not been loose since. Highly recommend. This unit has lots of options but I stay simple and only have to press one button to turn on and start recording and one button to shut off. Easy to download video onto PC. Auto detects the files.

Had this body cam for over a year using it as a dash camera. It’s the best camera I’ve owned, no issues and has an incognito mode. You can disable the lights and have the screen off while recording. If you’re going to buy a dash camera, don’t. Buy this instead. You can use it for cars or on yourself.

Very well made product that came packaged beautifully, with accessories that includes, dash mount with a sweet gimbal, vest clip, shouder clip, all power necessities, and a 20 page user manual. As far as buttons for the different functions, the only one that's truly obvious is the red record button, of the remaining 6 function buttons they're going to take some memorizing on the users part, but I was able to master them in a couple of hours, and I'm a regular guy with a regular memory. At its highest resolution setting this little camera produces excellent video quality which is rendered beautifully on the 2x2 color screen, but where these videos really pop is on a computer or smart TV screen. I could go on and on extolling the virtues of this camera, but I won't, I'll just leave you with my final thought . . . this is a solid purchase, I'd go ahead and buy one if I were you.

Used it with my security jobs and worked excellent

This is a nice camera. The night vision mode is excellent. The battery life is long. The one unforgivable thing about it is that it wants to write a date and time stamp and a camera ID number onto every frame of video. While you can configure what the camera ID number is, it must always be in the form of DSJ_XXXXXXX_XXXXXX, where you can choose characters for the Xs but the rest must stay the same. What's more, it's not even well rendered. I changed mine to "F***ING" and "STUPID" since that's how I feel about it, and the G doesn't even completely render as it gets overwritten with an underscore, which really rubs in just how f***ing stupid it is. It's really baffling that someone can make an otherwise fine product, but then make a mistake like this which makes it significantly less valuable. I was hoping that, when not using this as a body camera, I could use it to record other videos for other purposes. However, with that date/time/ID stamped on every video, what can I really do with it? It makes the camera completely useless for any purpose other than a body camera, which makes it significantly less valuable than it otherwise could be. Also the video memory cannot be removed. It's built into the camera. I guess the item description says as much but this is so odd that it should probably be in bold print because who honestly expects that a device doesn't simply use an SD card these days? One side-effect of this to keep in mind is that, if you have to return the camera for any reason, you must necessarily send back the storage medium as well. So don't use it to record anything confidential until you're absolutely positive you will not be returning the camera.
