I have loved these and am using them on two projects. 1. A composite PVC window box that I am gel-staining in a wood-look finish, and 2. A Winnie-the-Pooh playhouse built under the stairs for children to mimic the inside of a tree. My only mistake was in cleaning. DO NOT clean these with mineral spirits or other strong brush cleaners. My first set fell apart after soaking. Use warm soap and water instead and they will likely last longer.

I only just started attempting faux woodgrain, and I like the results so far. I ordered this set because of the different design of the bigger tool (blue one). They work, (almost too good) they pull much more stain off than the first set I bought (at a retail store). Even when using brush cleaner, the tools still had a greasy feel to them once cleaned. I have used them a second time, and the greasiness hasn't seemed to effect the job.

Was not what I thought it would be.

Really great and easy to use. Cleaning isn’t too bad if you don’t let the paint dry. Created a really nice wood grain effect. The key for me was to lay down a base coat (I used brown), let that dry, then use the wood graining tool on the wet top coat (I used gray). Cool weathered effect

So much fun! Easy to use and it looks great!
