Technician Class 2018-2022: Pass Your Amateur Radio Technician Class Test - The Easy Way (EasyWayHamBooks)

I knew zero, ziltch, nada about Amateur radio. I bought this book and after studying it for one month I passed the test on my first try! I've already ordered and received his next book to study for the General Class. The series is only to pass the FCC test, so if you're looking for more, this isn't for you, but you have to be licensed for this art, so with that said, this is the ONLY book you'll need for your Technician Class test! Make sure you get the one that covers years 2018 - 2022 as we're now in that test cycle.

I used this to pass my Technician test. I scored 35 out of 35. I used the General version of this book to pass my General Amateur on the same day. I only missed 2 questions on that one. Excellent series of books. Brilliant method. KG5ZRF

I purchased all the books in this series. I recommend that you spend a minimum of ten hours reviewing/studying the question pool before starting to read through this. If you do so, the book will just flow and will reinforce what you already studied. I went from zero to extra in one sitting. Trust me, if I could do it, then you can too if you put in the time to learning the material & familiarizing yourself with the different question pools. KX4NT, 73s

Edit: Passed my General with this series back in December. So, using this book I passed my Tech test this evening missing only 1 question.I was initially concerned with only learning the answers without any subject knowledge, but the first half of the book gives you more than enough information and examples to know what's going on.I'm ordering the book for the General and looking forward to passing that in due time as well.Highly recommend!

This book gives you all the right answers, unlike most books that give you all the possible answers. My 16 year old passed his Technician test on the first try after about a week and a half with this book. I wish this book was around when I first got my ham license!

This book was brilliant! I spent a few hours reading the bold highlights and reviewing the question answer. I followed up taking free online practice exams (ham exam.com) which I was passing at 90-95%. I then took the exam passing 34 out of 35 questions. I totally agree with the method, by reading exam questions and only the correct question with memorizing hints. Fast, efficient, and very effective... and cheap at under $5 for the kindle version.

Buy this book and read it. Get online and start taking practice exams. (Here's the secret), go out and buy 3x5" cards. What you get wrong on the exam (...and you will get things wrong on the exam trust me), take that question, find the answer in your book, WRITE IT OUT ON THE 3x5 CARD AND PUT THE CORRECT ANSWER ON THE BACK. Those 3x5 cards are now your best friends. Carry them and several times a day review them. If you're consistent the answers WILL start to sink in. Keep taking practice exams...you will find your results getting better and better. You'll know when you're ready to take the exam. Chances are you will CRUSH it. Best of luck!

This worked for me ! All in one week. I read the Technician Class book and took the test the Saturday after I finished reading it. And PASSED I might add. This was so great that I bought the next one which is for the general. Give it a try. Don't procrastinate
