We bought this for my 84 year old mother-in-law who still goes to work everyday at a jewelry store. She absolutely LOVES it!!! Doesn’t go anywhere without it!!!!

Nice way to carry your phone and have it appear to be an accessory. It is very "bright" gold (maybe it will fade over time) so it's a little more noticeable than I had hoped (thus 4 stars), but it definitely is a nice way to have your phone but not in your hand.

I wanted a reasonably priced case for my new Fire HD 10 (2017 model) and this fit the need perfectly. Fits great and provides an adequate level of protection. I wouldn't expect it to eliminate the chance of damage if dropped from 3 or more feet onto a hard floor. But for my purposes, it works great. I also really like that it automatically turns off the screen when closing the cover and turns it back on when opening it. I chose the "vintage style" and it makes the HD 10 look like a classicly bound book.

Love this cover! In fact, when my dog chewed my other one, I had to reorder a new one in the same style. Normally, I would switch it up and go for something new. Not this time. It is sturdy, fits well, feels good in my hands, and I love the handsome look. Would highly recommend this cover.

Got very easily tarnished after one month of wear (turned copper instead of gold). Then my child was bending the rope and it snapped in half.

Overall, this is a good, inexpensive case to protect your tablet from scratches, and the case also works well as a stand. This definitely won't offer much drop protection, and I wouldn't use this case with a kid, but for a teen or adult looking to avoid the errant ding, this case works well. I was hoping that this would really look like an old leather-bound book, but sadly it just looks like a cheesy pleather case for a tablet. I think it's the imprinting. It's definitely not like what you see with real leather bound books... but I'm just being nitpicky. Overall this is a good case.The cutouts are in all the right places, although the camera cutout is a bit off center. Not a deal breaker by any means as it doesn't obstruct the ability to use your tablet to take pictures, but it does bother my OCD a tiny bit. The Fire 10 tablet fits in it snug like a bug in a rug and doesn't jostle around. The magnetic clasp holds the cover closed. The inside of the cover/lid and the case itself is covered with a soft cloth material to reduce any scratches. The microphone isn't covered or obscured, so if you enable Alexa on the tablet, it works fine even with the lid/cover closed.The pleather itself didn't have any terrible chemical smells, and the stitching is nice and overall the construction is nice. Thankfully the pleather material is grippy enough with the fake wrinkles and not super smooth. So the case offers a decent grip, which is good because the corners of the tablet are pretty much exposed and covered by just a thin layer of pleather. There's not much bumper protection, so if you lose your grip and drop your tablet on the corner, I have no doubt that all of that impact will go directly to your tablet and shatter something and completely ruin your day. This lack of corner protection and cheesiness is the only reason I took a star off.

I bought this for my upcoming cruise, I figured it would be helpful to carry my phone around the ship so this thing would leave my hands-free. It looked great it even look like a nice accessory but by the second day the whole chain tarnishedso bad it turned almost black. It actually ruined one of my white shirts because it left a mark on it. Interestingly the clasps stayed nice and shiny gold but the rest of the thing look like it was 100 years old. I would love to buy it again if the seller would make it from a different material because the idea is great but the material is not up to par at all. Sadly returning.
