4K@30Hz HDMI Switch 3x1 with Optical SPDIF & RCA L/R Audio Out, FiveHome 3 in 1 Out HDMI Audio Extractor Splitter with Remote, Supports ARC, 4Kx2K, Ultra HD

Previous review:I want to extract audio from HDMI to RCA so that I can connect it to ButtKicker Gamer 2. My problem:I got it all hooked up and it works. The Buttkicker Gamer 2 vibrated the chair, no problem. My T.V., however, keeps randomly black out for 2 seconds. It happens between 1 minute to 1 hour. Sometimes it blacks out 3 or 4 times in a row. The black out gets very annoying. I tried HTML directly from computer to T.V. (not using HDMI Switch) never had a problem for years until this HDMI Switch. I tried HDMI Switch without using ButtKicker, still blacks out. Tried switching resolution from 4k to 1920 x 1080. Still blacks out intermittently. I contacted them detailing my computer video card, T.V. model, and even the HDMI cable (1.4 vs 2.0, etc). They replied saying they submitted my question to their tech support team. 12 days later. No reply. Either I do a full refund or go with their "1 year warranty" which I don't think would help anyway. I haven't compared to any other product since this is my first one. If anyone has better product for me to try, let me know.Updated review:Ok, so... turns out that it was the motherboard that was dying. Without HDMI Switch, I would have never known that my computer was slowly dying. I noticed that the motherboard's error LED indicator was not showing any number. More and more problems started to show up and is not related to HDMI Switch. I went and got a new motherboard, swapped it out and hooked it all up with HDMI Switch. NO BLACK OUT SCREEN! Finally! I actually did start the process of returning this product, but after swapping out motherboard, everything was running super great. Never once seen black out screen for almost 2 weeks so far. Decided to keep the HDMI Switch. It was never a problem to begin with. The only one issue I had was their tech support never replied. Only the customer support replied and was very nice and all.

Very much pleased with purchase of this little box. Now can connect multiple devices to my projector, until I can upgrade my entertainment center. My added bonus was also to get audio out from all connected, making it easy to send to amplifier. I have noticed that turning active video source off also turns off amplifier. Now when I power down projector, everything else turns off! One remote to worry about.

I Love it

Bought this to replace a similar product that didn't work at all(no audio out). This one at least works IF you switch the ARC on and off every time you want audio passed thru to the TV via HDMI. I don't know if this is normal or if I got a bad box. Source is an NVIDIA Shield Pro. Also with this switch the shield turns off automatically when I turn off the TV, no matter what combination of ARC / PASS / 2.1 / 5.1 settings. So the whole idea of playing music to the stereo with the TV off is moot.Returning this one and will have to find something else, hopefully 3rd time's a charm. So tired of made in china garbage.

Sending back! It worked for 1 night then stopped working without any changes being made. Don't waste time or money on this

I bought this as I am using a Epson projector hooked up to ps4 and nivida shield. Projector doesn't have any audio..plus only one HDMI port. This device gives me 3 HDMI ports. Opitial audio connection to my Logitech sound system. It switches channels all automatic.. haven't used the controller since buying this device. It's switches picture and audio automatic so it's fantastic!!!

Excellent product for switching HDMI and optical sound

Había leído en las reseñas en inglés un tanto variadas pero aceptables en cuando a calidad y funcionalidad del aparato. No se equivocaban. Es bastante bueno. La verdad esta pequeña "matriz" de distribución de audio es de calidad razonable para su precio y cumple lo que promete. Pude conectar dos consolas a mis bocinas y todo junto a mi pantalla, además de a un receptor/transmisor de bluetooth por cable óptico y todo funciona a la perfección. He aquí una pequeña lista de cosas a considerar:PROS:1.- es realmente fácil de instalar y no se requieren conocimientos técnicos más allá del promedio para ponerlo a funcionar. los controles son ingeniosos, simples e intuitivos. El aparato se aprende a usar en un par de minutos únicamente.2.- es relativamente pesado, algo bueno porque no está bailando por todos lados. La calidad de los materiales se siente bastante aceptable y la de imagen y sonido son excelentes.3.- incluye un pequeño control remoto con su batería. Se siente bien hecho y los botones no son de plástico de mala calidad. Es agradable al tacto.4.- se puede utilizar también el panel frontal para manipular las combinaciones de aparatos que uno desee por medio de botones que hacen firmes "clics", cada uno con su letrerito para indicar qué hace.5.- es posible combinar pantalla-consola o pantalla-consola-bocinas en un un santiamén.CONTRAS:1.- viene con un adaptador de corriente muy extraño que no encaja en ningún enchufe usado en mi país. Tuve que comprar un adaptador para poderlo conectar, pero funciona bien.2.- tiene que estar encendido todo el tiempo que los aparatos conectados a él deban funcionar, pero usa muy poca energía así que ni lo sentirán.3.- los leds indicadores que tiene al frente son un poco brillantes y de colores genéricos, pero nada que te distraiga de lo que hay en pantalla.4.- siempre que se cambia de pantalla o se manipulan los switches, la pantalla se apaga por unos dos o tres segundos, lo cual pudiera resultar algo molesto.En general, es un buen producto. Muy recomendado. No le pongo cinco estrellas por el detalle del adaptador.
