I was using a biodegradable poo bag, which I believed is environmentally friendly. On one of the professional dog walkers group in Facebook a post appeared which educated me. I did some further research and to my shock and extreme disappointment, I been using poo bags that are oxo-biodegradable but not environmentally friendly. They degrade into microplastics and thus very harmful .These bags are compostable, they do degrade into natural materials, because they are made from plant products. Therefore these bags ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY friendly. If environment is a concern to you ONLY by these or similar bags that are COMPOSTABLE. If it is NOT COMPOSTABLE it is not friendly to our environment.the only thing that would be good is if they are slightly bigger. But that is a minor point.

Unfortunately these aren't flat at the bottom, but bunched instead. This massively reduces useable size and although I have a small dog, I frequently have to wrap one bag in another as the poop is too close to the handles. Back to the green, square ones. Shame really.

I was SO delighted to find these bags. I wanted something with handles that you could tie, unscented and truly degradable / compostable. I've been using these bags since getting our dog, but I'm disappointed to see that they've gone up nearly £5 since last buying them in November. I'm guessing its because of Brexit. The company have great customer service. Such a shame about the price, but I'll still buy them as they're exactly what I want.

You can tell the material is genuinely compostable. No leaks, no stinky bags. I tel anyone and everyone about these. So far so good!! Don’t hesitate and treat yourself. 😀

I have bought these before as I like the fact that they are compostable and are great quality. Bought in bulk like this they last for ages. Will definitely be buying again when I run out.

Good quality bag, a little smaller than Amazon's own plastic ones so I imagine of you have a giant breed dog it may be an issue. However fine for my Labrador, haven't noticed any issues such as ripping ect, that you can experience with some cheaper bags.

For those of you who like me don't like the idea of plastic poo bags hanging around for years, these are strong and should decompose quicker than other 'biodegradable' bags. Yet to fully test how long this takes. Strong and leak proof. Worth the extra cost if the environment is important to you

Top quality, strong, great feel, biodegradable there is obviously a lot of thought and care and attention gone into the development and production of these bags.Our's is a medium sized dogs and so the bags are more than adequate for dealing with the volume of waste produced.If you are serious about the environment and use of plastics you should consider these bags.
