I think my cats may grow to enjoy this! It is easy to customize. It does stick to most surfaces well, though it doesn't stick to every surface perfectly. It hasn't fallen off or anything, just the edges! I'd still recommend it though. My cats don't scratch those areas anymore.

Trimmed pads seem a bit thin but are holding up well. Adhesive already show signs of peeling off our fabric covered chair but is holding on a leather couch. We simply sewed several loops of strong thread to the pad on the back of the chair where the cat claws. Simple fix and luckily its in a place that's not visible to the rest of the room. Extra pieces were trimmed to wrap a scratching post. You might have to get a little creative in using this material where needed but it does save the furniture. A plus was that this Lanswood mat material came in a nice neutral gray that blended with our décor. Good product, far better then scavenging old carpet for a scratching post.

There was much more material on this roll than I thought! The adhesion is really strong. My cats have been favoring the bottom step of our barely two year old carpet in the den and doing major damage. This covered it perfectly. Easy to cut and apply, and a great price. It's holding up really well against their claws.

I ordered this to recover my cat's scratching post that I made for her. Unfortunately I first covered it with sisal rope using hot glue and she wouldn't use it, so I purchased and stapled a runner rug on top. She used that to the point she was pulling bits of the rug out and it was a sloppy mess.I removed the sloppy rug (along with the staples) and recovered it with this. It seemed to stick pretty well until my cat decided to try it out then her claws pulled it up (but not off...so far). It's probably because of installing on top of the rope, which I can't unfortunately remove. I will try staples on the edges next.Would it have adhered better without the sisal? IDK. Just know that the adhesive on the backing may or may not be enough depending upon the surface you install it on, and the strength of your cat's claws.

Got this to protect our new couch since the cats started to scratch on it. Really sticky and doesnt fall when cats scratches. 10/10!
