The company selling this product keeps is promise of quality and freshness.
I am very pleased with my purchase. My first experience with this product was when I was visiting Maui, Hawaii at a luau. The deep rich color was very inviting to my taste buds that were screaming, try it! I did, and fell madly in love with the texture, taste, the vibrant purpleness of this sweet potato that was so delicious I went back for seconds. Being a "Southern Belle" from the south, I had only known of the orange sweet potato. I immediately started searching for these potatoes when I arrived back in Texas with no success. My plans to surprise my family with a purple sweet potato pie this year, brought intentional laughter within as I imagined the looks on their faces until they bravely took one bite of this delicious no sugar needed purpleness. Finally, a search on Amazon led me to this wonderful purchase of the Kejora Japanese Purple Sweet Potato. This potato has a particular color (ash grey), before cooking/baking, and after it has been cooked (same grey) and an accommodating taste and fullness that indicates to your tummy that there is no need for a meat selection to accompany it. All of what I experienced in Hawaii, was an exact duplicate with this purchase. I was very pleased with it in comparison to all the other indicated purple Japanese sweet potatoes available around town, all of which I found within this product. The amount of the purchase was reasonable and the arrival time was on point. I will definitely, be making more purchases in the future.Freshness:ExcellentQuality:Excellent

Purple Sweet Potatoes thumbs up
These potatoes are very good. The skin is nice to eat and what they send does vary in color and possibly they send different kinds of Japanese purple sweet potatoes. I was disappointed to receive different potatoes on my 2nd order. The seller accommodated my refund request. I'm getting ready to order again with an expectation that I may receive the Dark purple flesh and skin ones or I may receive the lighter almost pink cream colored purple sweet potato variety. I love them both and will be a repeat customer. I have grown many varieties of purple Japanese Sweet Potatoes in my greenhouse. It's a lot of work. I am enjoying the summer off from gardening and appreciate that I can order these from Kejora.

Rotten and Inedible – Demand Full Refund!
I am extremely disappointed with this product and demand a full refund. The sweet potatoes arrived in terrible condition — they were shriveled, discolored, and some appeared partially rotten or freezer-burned. It’s clear they were not fresh and were likely sitting in storage for far too long. This is unacceptable for a product that was advertised as fresh and of high quality. The packaging was also flimsy and did not protect the sweet potatoes at all during shipping. I spent good money on this and received inedible produce. I expect a full refund immediately.

Arrived on time
Came right on time. They are a beautiful color. They are not really sweet, also very fiberous and stringy.

Beautiful little jewels...
I ordered these purple sweet potatoes so that I can sprout them for cuttings to plant in a raised garden bed. I just ordered 1 lb. because one potato can produce several cuttings to grow. It was a surprise to receive about 10 small potatoes instead of the 2-3 larger ones I imagined. Well that's perfectly fine with me. I put them sideways into a shallow pan of potting mix in order to sprout them. The cuttings will be transferred to the garden. Because there were so many, I decided to cook the three larger ones to see what I would actually be eating if my crop is successful in the fall. I boiled them in order to retain the moisture ( I've heard purple sweet potatoes can be dry). After cooking, they came out tender, sweet, moist and creamy, with a deep beautiful purple flesh. Oh boy, I'm on the right track to be growing these. The nursery included a note mentioning that a young crop (it's early May) will only be able to produce small potatoes. They get larger as they mature. Who can argue with nature? I'm grateful to be able to receive these out of season. Wasn't able to find any purple sweet potatoes in my local urban grocery stores for that reason, I suppose. They appear in the fall unless stored for months. Anyway, these little baby are delicious and hopefully the ones in the potting mix will sprout. I put a tooth pick in this photo to give an idea of how big these are.

Good but expensive
I like the product, I have purchased it on 2 different occasions, however the price is a bit much for me. It arrived fresh and the quality was good. I'm glad I tried it, but I will not purchase again.
