This item would not work with 2021+ F150 truck, though it worked in my wife's Subaru. After trouble shooting and attempting to update I contacted support who told me it was not compatible. They suggested I order a far more expensive solution, which lacked the HDMI input I was seeking. The item is going back and I am ordering an Ottocast.

Ça m'arrive assez souvent de devoir patienter sur un parking et je trouve toujours frustrant de regarder une video sur mon smartphone alors que la voiture a un bel écran bien plus grand.Pouvoir tester cet appareil était donc une aubaine pour moi.Le fonctionnement est très simple puisqu'il transforme la prise USB Carplay en entrée HDMI.Cela fonctionne très bien.Néanmoins, j'ai 2 regrets qui sont liés. Il faut quand même un appareil à brancher en HDMI, logique, hein, mais j'aurais vraiment apprécié avoir une fonction de cast intégré pour facilement transférer l'image depuis le smartphone en sans fil. Du coup, et c'est la 2eme partie, je trouve ça drôlement cher pour le si peu que ça fait !Par pitié, soyez raisonnable de ne pas mettre de video en conduisant, car même si c'est pour les passagers, un regard d'une seconde pour regarder vite fait peut créer un accident. Si cette fonction est bloquée d'origine, il y a une raison raisonnable. Uniquement à l'arrêt.
