I recently picked up a Wireless Weather Station with an Outdoor Sensor, and it’s been a brilliant addition to our home and garden setup. Here are the basic details and my thoughts:The station has a sleek, modern design that fits well with our home decor. It feels sturdy and well-made, suggesting it will last.Setting it up was a breeze. The instructions were straightforward, and I had it working in no time. The outdoor sensor connected wirelessly without any hassle.It measures both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity accurately. The weather clock feature is very handy, making it useful in our daily routine.The outdoor sensor performs well in all weather conditions. The indoor unit updates quickly with accurate data. The forecast feature is also quite useful for planning our days.The display is easy to read and navigate. The backlight is a great feature for use in low light, and the battery life has been excellent so far.Given the features and build quality, this weather station is great value for money. This is a very slim and sleek design and doesn’t take up much space on a shelf or cupboard. I have set this up in my conservatory as I always like to know the indoor and outdoor temperatures as well as humidity so I can regulate the vents, blinds etc.The temperatures are shown in centigrade and Fahrenheit, and there are different levels of weather forecast – sunny, partly cloudy, overcast, rainy and snowy.There is also a handy alarm clock built in with snooze function, and a calendar.It can be powered by the mains (using a USB cable) or by 3 x AAA batteries (which are not included). If you are using batteries, which is my preference, the screen turns off automatically after 10 seconds to save power. Personally I would prefer not to have this feature as I don’t want to have to keep tapping it to see the screen (my previous device was battery operated but the screen stayed on all the time), so for me this is where the device loses a star.The sensor unit can be placed outside on a wall at a distance of up to 100 metres, and hopefully will stand up to the British weather. Time will tell!,At the current price of £22.99 less a 25% discount voucher, I think it is reasonably priced, and it would make a nice gift.
