Basaho Zabuton Meditation Mat | Organic Cotton (GOTS Certified) | Recycled Woollen Fibre Filling

The material is lovely, strong and soft. I like the weight and the thickness of it. However it's quite lumpy and bumpy all along one edge - about 1/3 to 1/4 of the mat has lumps. I'm hoping they might smooth out over time, and in the meantime I keep the bumps at the back (under/behind my cushion) so my knees are on the flat area at the front. Still a good price and nobody else seems to have had this issue so maybe mine was a bit of a second.Update: seller got in touch with me and sent a replacement mat straight away. Genuinely concerned about how I got a faulty one and interested to find out what went wrong. I really admire the integrity and care of the business, thank you!!

I like it a lot. It arrived very quickly and packed reasonably well. Not too soft and not too hard and is just right for me. Excellent quality and hard wearing material and I think is a delight to use. I place my Amazon bought BODYMATE Halfmoon Meditation Cushion on the mat for a perfect match. Both these items can be separated and washed. I’m happy with my purchase and it seems better than all the others I’ve seen and read up on. Price reflects its good quality and will last a lifetime.

Good size and price. I guess the only issues some may have is that it is a little bit thin compared to some of the others on Amazon. It's around 5cm. After buying and using a very good Basaho cushion I realised my legs/feet/ankles would benefit from a little more comfortfrom my firm carpeted floor. So I bought the mat and it has absolutelyimproved the sitting experience . I find I can sit longer and my posture is better too. Good quality and size and will stow away easily.

Colour: Dark Blue. Beautiful, quality mat. Good thickness. Great value. Bigger than expected but not an issue (it was well packaged, folded in half due to size but not damaged in any way or uneven). Removable cover to wash. My dog thought it was his new bed! Suppose it could work as a dog bed very well too. Very happy with it.

I purchased this mat & the round Zafu both from Basaho & I cannot recommend them enough. Both mat & Zafu are extremely comfortable, well made & stylish & yet are I think the cheapest available on amazon. I have owned & used numerous Zafus & zabutons & these are the best I have used. If you’re in the market I would look no further

Whilst I’ve not bought or used a zabuton before and don’t have much to compare it to I can tell you that this is a deffinately a well made product that does exactly what it is designed for and does it well. They quality of the product appears to be very good. The comfort (for me) is perfect. Having just made do with a yoga mat before purchasing this product, the difference is huge.The company, Basaho, claim to care about the enviromental imapct of there products and how they are manufactured. This is important to me and I have no reason to doubt their claims. I would highly recomend this product and would certainly consider purchasing other Basaho products again in the future!

I like this mat. It has a removable cover made from hard wearing material, but the feel of it is good. I use a zafu cushion placed upon the mat, and the mat affords ample comfort and cushioning under crossed legs. Also it is a plain colour, there are no pretty patterns on it, no om symbols or anything like that. Now some of those mats look very attractive, but they are, or can be, a distraction, what orientation to assume or where to sit on it etc, etc. I like as little fuss as possible in order to meditate. This mat is conducive to that end.
