I teach ELL students that have limited English skills when they come to preschool. They love to put them together and sound out the word.

This is a great activity to reinforce learning cvc words in the classroom or at home. Students love making words and these puzzles make it fun.

These puzzles are great for students to do independently. The puzzles are a bit thinner than I expected so I don't know how long they will last. Also, some of the words would not be easy for students to sound out, so I would probably take those out. But overall, these are a great resource for young children!

The puzzles are sturdy and durable. Easy to assemble and fun to play while learning spelling.

While worksheets are so often boring, a puzzle game isn't. This set has nicely made little puzzle cards to help the student to build words with consonant blends at the beginnings or ends. The varied shapes and background colors, as well as the pictures, make any errors obvious, making self-correction simple. I'd suggest this set for the kindergarten/first grade crowd, or any beginning reader.This set comes with a storage bag, though I'll transfer it into a small storage box to make identification easier. It's not a toy that a child will play with for years, but it's a good tool for teaching reading and spelling early on.

These are working out perfect for kindergarteners. They've been working on CVC learning tools, and now these a tiny step further with the double consonants. The puzzle pieces are good quality, and fit together nicely to reveal the picture and word created by connecting.
