As a collector of antique Chinese porcelains, I often find that some are poorly or unevenly illuminated at night despite the presence of multiple room lamps. These spotlights are an ingenious way of bringing out the beauty of these lovely objects. I attached one to a wooden overhead beam near a large lidded jar using my own screws. The spotlight is about 6 feet away from the jar. The screws provided are not really adequate in my opinion. Also, I would not use the adhesive disc provided since when that dries out, it can easily lose its adhesive properties causing the spotlight to fall to the floor. The tiny remote control works exceedingly well. I love the ability to be able to use the built in timer so that I don't forget to turn the spotlight off. Additionally, I very much like the ability to modify the light intensity to obtain just the right light to bring out the brilliant pink, red and blue and green colors in the Qing-dynasty jar without creating a glare in the glossy enamel surface. I'm delighted with the result here. These spotlights are small and unobtrusive. I can see that they might have multiple uses around the home for illuminating badly lit areas without the need to get any electrical work done. I recommend them highly.

Oh my goodness! These lights are amazing. I search for quite a while before deciding to try these for our painting. We had a painting shipped from Laguna Beach, CA (Santa Monica Lights). I was concerned about how to light the painting like the Lu Martin gallery did. I was thinking of getting one of those long lights that hang over the painting. I decided I really wanted something a bit more discreet. These lights are exactly what I had been looking for!!! Here are the reasons I love them: 1. It's all about the remote. Yes, that wonderful remote that allows you to turn the lights on without pushing the button. 2. You can dim the lights. 3. There are 4 timed settings (15 min., 30 min., 60 min., 120 min.) 4. So easy to install. There is a round velcro patch that you put on the back side of the light and stick it on the ceiling. 5. The lights are movable in a variety of ways that make adjusting it to your picture so easy. I am going to be ordering more of these for other art work! I tried to get a picture of the painting and the lights on the ceiling. Highly recommend these as affordable and great quality.

This light is super easy to install. the light is dimmable so it can be as bright or as dim as you want. It adds a dramatic touch to any space. The only thing i guess i have to complain about is the light doesnt have a timer. i have to mannually turn it on every night. but i'm sure there is one out there with a timer. i dont mind turning it on when i need to. if you want to add some drama to a plant USE THIS LIGHT! so cute!

Love these!!!! They are portable and add just enough light. The timer makes it easy to use. The brightness is adjustable. I did not use the adhesive because I like to move the around. Easy to install the batteries. The lamp adjusts and the look is sleek! The quality is great. So happy with this. It works well and last long before dining and needing to change the batteries.

We got these for my late dog, where we keep his ashes. I liked the fact that I can adjust the light beams to where I want them. However, the adhesive did not work at all on our wall. To be fair, our wall is not smooth but textured, so we used the screws provided. That worked well. The biggest letdown was the life of the batteries. I think the light pulls alot of energy and so the batteries only lasted a couple of weeks. We did turn it on nightly for a few hours each time, but I expected the batteries to have lasted much longer. The fact that we have it screwed into the ceiling area makes it a pain to change the batteries. Coupled with the short life of the batteries, we have gone back to candles until we can find an adjustable spot light to replace these.

I've been searching for a decent art light fixture forever with no luck. I recently bought a Giglee print of The Kiss by Klimt on a whim and was quite disappointed when I received it because it looked so dull in person, especially without the original's metallic gold leaf. Rather than returning it, I decided to try these inexpensive spot lights because I didn't want to see any visible cords nor install electrical wires through the wall. Well I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE, and immediately ordered several more of the spot light packs for rest of my original paintings! The print pigments that looked so dark and dull (not problematic in original artist's paints) suddenly came alive with colors and sets up a serene mood around the area. I didn't particularly like the gold accent spotlight color that crashes with rest of my house's rustic decor, but it's hardly noticeable once installed and actually looks pretty sleek while in operation. The little lights are more than bright enough than expected and I actually prefer the 50% or less better than the full brightness, which hopefully means I should get more operable hours than the advertised 50 hours out of 3 AA batteries. I love the easy timer settings and despite turning/hiding the black IR receiver circle from plain view, the remote operates well from over 20' away. I'm not sure how long the detachable Velcro sticky tapes that I used for quick install will last, but they're holding up so far. I will use the provided screws for a more permanent install if it ever falls off and update the review if/when the tape fails. The only thing I do wish is that the spot light could have a zoom feature so that I could focus it more on the painting area regardless of the mounted angle/distance, but nevertheless I highly recommend these!

Me gustaron, solo que nada más tiene opción para pilas AA y no de carga o algo así, le puse unas duracel nuevas y no le duraron nada, como 2 semanas prendiéndolas por ratitos nada más.

J'ai acheté ces 2 spots pour faire un éclairage d'appoint : un dans cuisine (collé sur un mur) pour mieux éclairer mon four et son tableau de réglage et l'autre pour faire un éclairage indirect sur un piano (posé sur une petite table). Parfait pour l'un et l'autre. Au bout de 3 semaines d'utilisation pendant 3 heures par jour (environ), je me demande si les piles ne commencent pas à faiblir un peu mais l'éclairage est encorre tout à fait bien. Le fonctionnement sur pile est vraiment très pratique plutôt que d'avoir des fils qui trainent partout. Même si je dois changer les piles (2 dans chaque spot) 3 fois par an. La télécommande est un plus et fonctionne très bien. Cela évite d'avoir à appuyer sur bouton (surtout pour celui posé qui ainsi ne bouge pas de position). Pour terminer, très bon look.
