Works well
This worked very well for night ice fishing crappie. Was sceptical, but for the price I was willing to try it. Very bright and brought in the fish

Really good light
Not as bright but it works really good and worth the price. For shrimp I’ll probably need 3 more to light good spot see everything in 5 by 5. I like it

it works
It did what it was suppose to do, we spent an all nigher fishing striped Bass. We connected it to our trolling motor battery and it worked great. It put out a 8 to 10 foot circle of light. Right off the bat we got shade moving in, witch brought the big boys. U do have to connect a weight to the bottom so it sinks to the death u want it. It has a ring on the bottom so u can do that. It was in the water for about 10 hours and worked the whole time

Cable isn't 33ft
Size is smaller than expected but bright. Cable is more like 15ft and not 33ft as described. Certain parts of the description are saying two different lengths 17ft and 33ft. Not sure with this length if it's even gonna touch the water from the piers that we fish from. Probably just be use to bank fish.Post edited 5/29/24: The light itself is bright and the cable is long enough to reach the water from the pier I fish. May not reach water after water levels drop for fall/winter season. I read some other reviews saying at add your own waterproof sealant, so i did. Over all I'm impressed with this product.

Great light for fishing.
This light really does attract the fish at night. I wasn't sure how well it would work, but within a few minutes of dropping it in the water the fish finder started alerting us to lots of larger fish around the boat. I can't say that we caught a whole lot, however I do think it made our odds better. This light is very bright so make sure not to look directly at it when you hook it up.

Bright little light in the night
Got this for my hubby, who wanted to start night fishing. Puts off a lot of light. Doesn't take long to attract bait fish, which attracts the bigger fish. He is happy with it & has raved about it to all his buddies. Highly recommend! He fashioned a small piece of pool noodle to the top of it & used a clip with some nuts for weight at the bottom.
