Great bread baker
Tried it with the lid holding the loaf and the casserole holding the loaf. I like the latter, but both ways work well.

use for bread baking
Realizing that is was not designed to be a baking container, it still does a decent job. Interior finish is rough which tends to rust more easily than a more milled finish.

Small, but great for bread baking
This works perfectly for making small loaves of sourdough bread, using the cover for the loaf, and the pan for the steam cover. It is a little smaller than it appears, but it works for my purposes.
