These are good looking, quality parts, but look CLOSELY at the photos. These do not have the nice “tabs and holes” to solder onto. They have one, but the other two soldering points are exceedingly small and difficult for the amateur to get right. I destroyed two jacks trying to take them apart further to make the job easier, lol. The third I overheated the contact points and got a blob of solder connecting the ring and sleeve points. Finally, I tinned the little wires and succeeded by be very, very careful. Whew! This was on a Sony V600, btw.Finally, and particular to my model headphones, the opening for the cable is a bit large for my need. It has a gap. I tried to build the cable up with heatshrink. Not a big deal, just FYI.

Works well so far. Do not buy this if you don't know how to use a soldering iron, and specifically solder smaller pieces. I am not the best solderer in the world, but fixing my favorite headphones, which lost the original plug was an easy task for me.

I ruined 2 of them before I gave up. Nice quality but virtually impossible to solder unless you're a nanobot.

Well made, easy to use. Much higher quality than a lot of the others on the market at this price.

There are really no connectors to solder on to. The tip connector is a cylinder about 1mm in diameter and 2mm long with no holes and totally smooth. The ring is about a 2x2mm cylinder, again with nothing to solder on to. The sleeve does have a hole to insert a wire to solder but the other 2 dont. I consider myself a fairly experienced solderer, and have been doing it for years. These connectors are not even roughed up to hold the solder. Not even worth the time to attempt to use them.

This was a great alternative to replacing an audio jack for my automobile.

Work great if you know how to solder.
