Great for cleaning nasty old harmonicas i must say!!

Great design, but could use some improvements. I love that this ultrasonic cleaner also functions as a clock because I can justify leaving it on the counter all the time as it’s something I use daily. It does take up a good amount of counter space but this is the trade off for having a large enough reservoir to fit items like eyeglasses and makeup brushes/tools all of which I have cleaned with success. I mostly use it to clean retainers and it has kept them free of stains. It is quiet during the cleaning process. The biggest downside for me is that it has to be plugged in for the clock to function which makes it a pain to empty the water from the reservoir. I wish the water reservoir could be removed separately from the unit to avoid taking the whole unit to the sink to empty/refill. Thankfully my bathroom outlet is close enough to the sink but this is something to consider if you planned to keep this on a nightstand or elsewhere. If not in proximity to a sink, you will have to unplug it after every cleaning to empty the reservoir.

Needed a clock and a jewelry cleaner in this worked out great for me. I killed two birds with one stone and saved money.

Update: It's been less than 12 hours since I posted my last review and the screen is now completely dead so nothing works. The cleaner leaked into the screen and caused the whole thing to go black.The cleaning aspect is fine. It works well. However the clock is horrible. I've had it for about a month now. After 2 weeks the clock started acting strange. The minutes would change every 10 seconds rather than every minute. I unplugged it and changed the time. It worked fine for about 5 days. Now whenever I set the time, it just stays at that time. At 6:00 this morning it still said it was 22:08 yesterday, which is when I set it. It did that the day before when I set it in the evening as well.

I bought this product because it appeared to have nice digital features, however, after use, the tray where the water goes, does not come out so you have first to disconnect the machine and pour the water out over the sink but the liquid goes in between the cracks and it starts to seep out from everywhere. Even the little speaker at the bottom. At one point, the digital screen stopped working because water got into it and the buttons were frozen. After a few minutes, the mechanism started on its own, and had to disconnect it from the power to make it stop. Lastly, it only has the option for military time, that was a deal breaker for me.

So I bought this after watching a YouTube product review by one of my favorite harmonica players. I bought it primarily for cleaning harmonicas. This ultra sonic cleaner cleaned my harmonicas perfectly inside and out without disassembling them. I played them afterward and they played like they were brand new.

This jewelry cleaner works great for the average consumer that needs to clean small items like rings, necklaces, watch bands, dental appliances and small items. Fun to use. Easy to use.
