Additionally, the dusk to dawn feature is excellent the lights automatically turn on and off, which saves energy.Another feature is the GFCI outlet which is very useful, you can connect Christmas-lights, tools, etc....The installation process is straightforward and the product comes with clear instructions and necessary hardware.Overall, well-designed and durable product, ample lighting, a GFCI outlet and automatic on/off feature which are very convenient. Love it!!

In order to anchor the base to a 2” thick x 12” x 12” concrete paver, before assembly I drilled three holes in the base and one hole in the base-side to run an electrical cord out the side. Use adequate electrical insulation around the electrical cord to prevent shorting where the cord passes through the hole in the metal base. I used three galvanized lag screws and washers screwed into three anchors inserted into three holes in the concrete base. The light post looks fantastic at night with two LED ‘bug lights’ installed, bringing welcomed light to a parking area and enhancing the landscaping as well. It was easy enough to assemble and connect wiring. The light post anchored to the concrete paver withstood a powerful windstorm without moving a bit. The post material does indeed seem to be aluminum with a good paint job. This should last many maintenance-free years without rusting. A very good value in my book.

There light fixtures are very nice and well made. When I ordered them I thought I might have to return because of quality. But when I opened up box and installed them I was very pleased with them, appear to be pretty heavy duty. I put old fashioned type bulbs in them. Look great and nice accent lighting I wanted 👍.

The unit was delivered in great but not perfect adjustment, however the outcome and product support made all good! Thank you

I really wanted to like these, and the pole is generally pretty nice. But the ceramic sockets are garbage. The external threads are poorly formed, and these use a large metal threaded fitting to hold the shade on. I bought 7 of these lamps, and half of them had issues with the ceramic socket where the metal fitting would not thread on all the way, so you can’t tighten it up on the lamp shade. So frustrating! And I had already installed the lamps on concrete pads, so now just have rebuild brand new lamps with new hardware. So buyer beware - you’re going to have issues.

Great affordable light post. Love the dusk to dawn even tho we have an inside switch. Purchased led bulbs and gives a nice downward glow. Not super heavy duty but doesn't need to be.

I would have given 5 stars for this lamppost because it is really great quality and looks like it will withstand the weather well. My concerns were that, while offering a plug receptacle on the base , it does not give an on/off switch if you should choose to not have it on every evening since it is a dusk to dawn light. Secondly, be aware that installation is a bit of work: digging a hole, filling with cement while sinking in the stabilizers and making sure it's all perfectly level and the screws sticking out of the cement are the exact height to attach to the base. A bit if a challenge but hopefully this beautiful lamp will be with us for many years to come.
