Cloudy product
The tank was amazing until the 3 week the container became cloudy and my fish wasn’t visible I cleaned the tank 4 times thinking it was the fish food making it like that but apparently it was just fading more and more with time killing my fish 😕

Impossible to clean NOT self cleaning
It really is a stunning-looking aquarium when you first set it up and the lighting is beautiful. It shows off the fish really well and it is whisper quiet. It is a great size. Unfortunately, this tank set up does not have a self-cleaning mechanism and the filter is not very effective. The unit was full of algae very quickly. The lid does not come off and the tube does not come out, so it is impossible to clean - full of algae which quickly repopulates. The white rocks it came with are not polished and algae covers them - they have to be hand brushed and no one has time to hand brush all those rocks. Had to return, which I appreciated being able to do.

2 week Update* things took a turn for the worse
The media could not be loaded. The aquarium came with same day delivery. I am the aquarium person, and was not available to set it up(I was out of town when the old tank sprung a leak). The instructions were basic, but my husband was able to do it by looking at the pics. I got home at 10:30 pm and had to take fish and shrimp that were in cups all day , aclimate them and get them settled. The round filter you see in the tank of the video was used in their old tank, I only have it in this one to try and reduce the severity of the new tank cycling.it will be removed in about a week. The filter for this tank is okay, but adding a layer of bioballs and a sheet of carbon filter will elevate this aquarium up a level. The video is a day after the fish and shrimp were added. The pic is the filter media that is provided to you in the pkg. The 2nd pic is of the powerhead for the filter. Please note the instructions say do not use sand. I also say do not use smaller rocks. The water is sucked up from the bottom of the box(pump). I had to add the white rocks that were provided with this aquarium around the pump because they were larger than the rocks i had. My rocks will definatly get sucked up. When installed this way the tank is great for small fish and shrimp fry. If the pump is above the gravel I do not recommend it for small fry or shrimp. To modify the filter box i ordered Aquafa carbon sheet. It is thin 1/4 in. to allow a second filter that is 50 microns also very thin. This will filter ultra fine particulate. I added mini bio beads in a mesh bag that are about the size of BB pellets for BB gun. Then I cut the filter the company provides you in half so the width is 1/4 th inch. This allows all of the media to fit in the box. For a much better filtration system. I will let you know how it goes in the future after a few mos.1 WEEK UPDATE***I was able to remove the old filter I had in this aquarium. Ifor the filtration I changed it 3 days ago to - on the bottom I cut the pad this company supplies you in half so the width is 1/4 in. Then the next layer is 1/4 in polishing pad microns,on top of that I have a 1/4 in carbon sponge media, then the micro bio balls. For now I have the sponge from the old filter cut up and placed on the top for further seeding of the filter to support the tank so it does not cycle. So far so good. Unfortunately you can only add 1 video per review, do I removed the old one and added a new one so you can see it without the additional filter running, and to show the filter box. So far No one has died. Everyone seems happy. Test strips show all levels are also holding steady.**** week 2- the viewing glass/plastic started clouding like it had an alage Blume. I still tested the water with 0 nitrites, and 0 nitrates, so I was puzzled. When I went in to remove the "alage" it wouldn't come off. This was not alage at all. It was the plastic discoloring. When I wrote to the seller they offered a 50% discount and no explanation on the cause. I went back to Amazon for a full refund. My suspicion is that the tannins in the water was leaching into the plastic. So if you have a shrimp tank and add tannins to the water. Don't go with plastic/acrylic. Only go with glass. Other than that, and mediocre customer service from the seller the tank was a little gem with little adjustments having to be made.

A small acrylic can be a problem look for glass and the motor burnt fount in three days
honestly, it has to feel of a real POS reason being acrylic discolors so definitely don’t get it for a better fish or a Betts fishThe size is right for a solitary betta but don’t dare put an almond leaf or try to clean the inside because he gets foggy the little motor burned out at three days that runs the tiny filter. I wish I would send me a little motor just the motor to plug in. If they’re reading this please send me another little white motor. Maybe I could salvage it and turn this wholeBad review around. maybe I can use it for another little box I have but I paid for one and it ruined. Everything just stopped working little white motor that runs the little filter and I could change this review because you guys would show some initiative to make a customer hole on whatever level refunded or not

Great little tank - EASY setup
I have one happy Betta fish in this little tank - takes minutes to set up, has a great pump and water cleaning system. The ad says the pump is super quiet and it definitely is! I used different plants than the plastic ones b/c my fish expert friend says silk is better. I'm very happy with this.

Still waiting for seller on how to fix the LED light (UPDATE) :)
The media could not be loaded. Update: Seller contacted me and, the issue is resolved. We really like these fish tanks, the size is perfect for a beta fish, and my kids enjoy changing the lights for their fishes. Thanks, MoonOrange!!Update: I'm still waiting for seller to contact me on how to fix the lights in one of the tanks. My husband other a second tank for my older son, and it works, also came with instructions included something I did not see on my first purchase.......(?).The LED light does not work in one of the tanks, stays in blue all the time. The because the tank is good size, and filter works good. The pump works so the water is clean but I’d wish I could turn it off the light without unplugging the power cord.
