Great quality. Worth the price.

Our elderly cat was sick and this was the only food she would eat. She really loves the chicken pate. The company is great to work with too.

I’ve been buying Open Farm Wild-Caught Salmon Pâté for months because my cat has allergies and this formula is normally soft, smooth, and consistent. This time I received two full cases that were rock hard. I couldn’t even get a spoon into the cans, and my cat wouldn’t touch it. This was not a “natural variation” — it was a defective batch, and I sent photos and the batch number to prove it. Customer service replied the next day, but the message felt like a copy-and-paste script about “batch variations,” which completely ignored the pictures and everything I explained. Their phone line goes straight to voicemail, their “live chat” never has anyone available, and the email support so far has been slow and unhelpful. For a company charging premium prices, this level of customer service is unacceptable. When a product is unusable, pet owners deserve real support — not dismissive answers. As of now, I will NOT be purchasing from Open Farm again. This review will remain up and unchanged unless they resolve this quickly with either: two replacement cases from a different batch (my preferred solution), OR a full refund, AND an explanation of what happened with this batch. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable — just safe, usable food and a company that stands behind its product.

This my cat's absolute favorite. It has a normal meaty smell but no offensive odor like any other wet food.

I think the quality of this food is great. However, only one of my cats would eat it. Good texture not too soupy or dry.

We are trying vet-recommended wet food brands for our elderly cat after years of grocery store cat food. This is one of only a couple that he eats consistently as soon as we put it out.

We recvd orders no issue but have feedback on the cat food. We ordered chicken & turkey pates. 1 of 3 cats won’t touch it & the other 2 reluctantly. The pate is very gel-like in consistency and includes agar agar & tapioca, neither best for cats as obligate carnivores, meaning their bodies are designed to process animal proteins, not plant-based or algae substances like agar agar. Feeding cats foods that are not species-appropriate can lead to nutritional deficiencies or other health issues, incl. GI distress. Consider reformulating, please! Love the concept & want to buy but too much gel which obscures smell/flavor. Why not remove one or the other so it’s not so thick and will have more cat-appealing flavor and smell. Please consider!
