A sturdy mount with one problem
Simple to use and stable. Very heavy duty, I believe it can hold large lens DSLRs and spotting scopes. The only concern I have with this mount is the backing plate that is pressed against the glass when you tighten the threaded knob. It's not attached or clipped to the threaded rod so when you back it off enough to make room for the window, that give the plate enough room to move forward and fall off. Once it's clamped down it can't go anywhere so there is no danger to your camera. If you get in a hurry to attach the mount to the glass the plate can be lost in your vehicle before you get it tightened or removed. I will include a photo with a red arrow to indicate the piece. If you need spare quick release mounting plates the Velbon QB-4W Quick Release Platform is identical to the OEM plate.

Another made in China
I have used this item only one time and it seems ok. It's got a very plastic look and feel to it. Looks like if you over tighten some of the swivel parts to hold the camera position that they might break. I will have to pay attention to that. I'm talking a SLR camera and the weight of L-lens on it. So I'll see how it goes on that.It wasn't a great deal of money and it looked to be the best one available through Amazon.

Great Tools Speak For Themselves
As soon as I picked the Photo Logic clamp up I knew I made a good choice. It's a solid piece of equipment and I feel at ease knowing my digital video movie camera's are set up and in "good hands" while secured on this ride. When you film while moving 80+ MPH, you have to make sure all the supplies, materials and tools that you put to use are the best available on the market. I feel good about calling Logics window clamp just that. It's the best that I found and now it's on my tool list...try it, you'll love it !A +++

OK if not a lot of re-framing
The item works as advertised, but I thought I'd use it more than I do. Because of the weird angles of my car's windows and the mount's controls it's not as easy or useful as I thought it would be. Use it if you don't need to do a lot of quick re-framing. Would probably be tricky for video pans.

This works beutifully for my Videography business
I recently video recorded a high school graduation and used this clamp on a piece of metal bar clamped to an 11 foot ladder, to get height and flexibility of the shots. I could change the video view by climbing the ladder and adjusting, without incident. I also used fixed clamps for multiple cameras, but this was a really nice option for non-fixed or semi-fixed scenarios. A simple solution! I'm going to buy another, so I can have two adjustable cameras on my double sided ladder configuration.

Bottom line it is just what I wanted
This camera window mount is exactly what I wanted...basic. When the lens is very big, it isn't as fluid as my tripod but it is a very good entry window mount and face it, for the price, you know what you are getting.

The product seems very well made and will function as described. The only thing I didn't realize was the size of the item. It is much larger than I was thinking it would be therefore it is still in the box and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

Window tripod
I received the Window tripod in good condition in a timely fashion. It is a gift, so I don't know about it's performance at this time, however, it appears that it will work just fine.Thank You.
