Got the deal on all 3 40v hedge tools, so fair price, did add a non genuine battery pack though, used a number of times now, nice and easy, cut is amazing, blades are quality, even thick branches are no problem, much easier than petrol kit, almost a joy! Battery life impressive, still on first charge, going to get the strimmer now!!

Brilliant machine Fairly light very easy to use, it's just getting used to not having the wire following me around. The cutter is ultra sharp and made light work of my dense hedges. 40v 2amp battery gives plenty run time and recharge is quick. Would I recommend them Hell yes.

This is a good machine. Pricier than I was looking to pay but having read many reviews of many hedge trimmers opted for this one as I thought, 'I only want to buy once!' It is well built; safety on/off switch involves 3x buttons which is needed given that the handle for carrying necessarily involves pressing the lever for trimmer action. The guard is strong and additionally serves as protection when the trimmer is in use. Battery life (2.5amp hours) is more than adequate for my purposes. The trimmer made light work of cutting back a jasmine, 5 metres length and privet hedge, 3.5 metres length. Starting fully charged, the battery charge indicator on the attached battery (a small button needs to be depressed to display status of charge) showed 3 lights remaining out of four to fully cut back overgrown front garden hedge; same for jasmine in back garden. And the battery incidentally is the easiest to slide on/off both the trimmer and the charger. The body of the handle can be swivelled to a horizontal position which is handy for tackling hedges from different angles .Needless to say, great not to have to worry about trailing and cutting cables! My only slight detraction, and it seems hardly fair to mention it as such, is that I found it is a bit on the heavy side for prolonged use. I am small and just 45kg. It is about 4kg with battery attached. There are lighter alternatives on the market. I have, as I say perhaps unfairly, given an overall 4 stars rather than 5 for this reason.

Quality is very good, long reach so can do my hedge in no time. Saves so much hassle from the electric plug in o e used with extension lead with the bo used of having to move the lead evey minute to avoid cutting through it. Big battery which lasts for at least 2.5 to 3 hours.

Works very well. Seems well made. Quite heavy but reassuringly solid.

Overall I'm impressed with the cutting power, weight and battery life. I also have the pole trimmer, which I bought over a year ago and between both I can easily cut my hedge on a full charge from both batteries / trimmers. The hedge is a good 3m high x 60m long and between them they made short work of it. It is not as powerful as my old 240v mains trimmer and I didn't this to be, then again I don't have any heavy branches to deal with so not a problem 99% of the time. Weight is OK, about the same as my old trimmer and the big bonus is not having to worry about moving or accidentally trimming the mains chord, which makes the whole process a lot simpler and safer.

This item was so easy to use no trailing cables ,no tripping over the wire and no chance of cutting the wire best hedge trimmer that I have ever used.It gave me the confidence to cut the hedges as it felt alot safer for me to use .

Good gadget and fairly robust. The switching is a bit fiddly though….
