Really Nice Air Extension Hose... But Does NOT Fit Portable Air Compressor, Unfortunately ;o)
Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)I, like everyone else needed a longer air extension hose for my portable air compressor. My original hose didn't clamp down on the tire stem, making difficult at times to maintain the proper air pressure. Thus began my quest for a longer, yet better air hose.I stumbled on this wonderful hose on Amazon and promptly ordered it on the spot. It came with everything I was looking for, a better air hose, longer in length so my compressor wouldn't dangle from the tire, and a two terrific features-- that of the latch-on tire stem lever and a quick air release button to release excess air when needed to deflate the tire a tad. (My hubby accidentally over- inflated my tires, and I found out that it wasn't easy to deflate the tires. So this nifty air release button was a nice feature to have! ;o)The air hose itself is sturdy and well made. But therein lies my problem... this hose doesn't fit my portable air compressor at all, much to my dismay. I subsequently found out afterwards, there's an adapter necessary to attach this hose to my portable air compressor, of which I have several. The inlet is standard size, as I found out, as well.While this hose is well made with several adapters, I can't use this hose without the missing adapter, despite the seller's listing saying so in the title. For that, I must take off a star, and continue my search for a longer air hose elsewhere with the right adapter for portable air compressors.
