Excellent value, works great
For the last 5 years or so since I hired a weekly "lawn service" to keep the yard mown, edged, and hedges trimmed, my 10-15 y/o Echo HC-150 hedge trimmer has been sitting un-used. Recently I had a reason to use it and although I was able to get it started it would not run at much more than idle on the choke. Suspecting that the carb was fouled with old gas and not sure how to clean it without tearing it apart I looked here in Amazon for a potential replacement and found this thing for a measly $15. Most of the reviews were not only positive but excellent so I decided to give it a try. The kit arrived within two days and it included the carb, the fuel lines including some replacement primer bulbs, an air filter and a new spark plug. For 15 bucks! I have paid more than that for just a primer bulb at a big box store! Anyway, using a Phillips screw driver the old carb came off without a hitch but I had a bit of trouble getting the throttle cable detached but that was due to the danged arthritis in my hands. Anybody with functional opposable thumbs will have zero issues removing it. The new carb comes with two replacement gaskets and I don't think it really matters which one goes where when attaching the new carb, but I used both, one on the engine block side and one the air filter side. The carb comes with the proper primer bulb already attached so that's taken care of.... After fiddling a bit again to get the throttle cable attached to the new carb and screwing the carb down to the engine block with the two original screws, I put the new air filter on, tightened filter cover with the original wing-nut, and job done! Filled the tank with relatively new proper gas/oil mix and pumped the primer 5 or 6 times, set the choke, and it fired right up. After less than a minute it revved to full speed and I had my hedge trimmer back in service! This kit is a screaming bargain and seems to be OEM quality. The installation process is almost stupid-proof (as long as your digits work the way they're supposed to). Haven't run it for very long yet and if the thing ends up failing in some way I'll update this review, but I'm confident that it will work great for a long time. (As a real plus, the same kit will also work on my old Echo SRM-210SB string trimmer. I'll probably buy another kit for it too.)

Awesome kit at unbelievable price
Awesome rebuild kit, breathed new life into my Echo HC-150. Was having issues where it would run for a while and then stall, making it near impossible to get any work done with it. It also leaked gas which would drip onto my hands and clothes when trimming. I was looking for a fuel line kit and ran across this awesome kit which also includes a replacement carburetor, air filter, gasket, and spark plug, all for under $15. The other reviews are right when they say it's almost too good to be true. Installation is straightforward if you're handy. Since this product is designed for several different models, you will have to trim the fuel lines to the proper length for your model. Just use the old parts for reference and cut the lines with scissors or a pocket knife. The kit came with a new gas tank grommet but it was a little too big, so instead of drilling the hole in the tank larger I just re-used my original grommet, which worked fine. It's a little tricky to get the lines through the smaller holes in the original grommet, but it can be done. Once I got it all back together, added fuel the tank, and it fired up like a dream. Ran it for several hours doing landscaping in the front and it's running like day 1 again and doesn't leak fuel on me anymore. Absolutely fantastic. Take the advice of others and back off the small brass fuel mixture screw a turn or two counter-clockwise with a jeweler's screwdriver since it comes set to the most lean setting. If you want to dial it in, warm up the motor and run it at full throttle while you dial back the screw and stop as soon as the motor slows down slightly. I'm buying 3 more of these awesome kits to keep on hand. These should work for my other echo tools like the PAS-225, so it will be nice to have spares to keep my echo tools running over the years.

Worked Great
The kit was super easy to install and a great value. I was surprised you could get a carburetor and a fuel line assembly for this price. You do need basic mechanical skills and tools to replace these items. Also make sure you match the kit to your model number weed eater. The best way to check your abilities beforehand is to try removing your old assembly. If you can't, you need to take it to the repair shop which will cost about as much as the weed eater. The new rubber grommet that houses the fuel lines is extremely hard to push in the fuel tank. This is a good thing so it won't leak. Pay careful attention to the orientation and connections of the old assembly as the new one needs to be positioned and connected the same way. You won't be able to twist it around once it is in place. To get the grommet in the fuel tank, start by pushing one side of it in the hole. Then take a blunt instrument ( I used the blunt side of a carpenter pencil) and put push in on the side of the grommet while pushing down and work your way around until the assembly is completely in place. You will think it doesn't fit but it does. Also the fuel tank must be removed before attempting this. Good luck and it is financially worth the effort!

Worked perfectly
All in one kit fit and ran perfect. I have an old Echo SRM210 that had been laying on the floor of my back porch for about 7 years. The piston was seized from being outdoors. The carb was full of debris. The fuel pump diaphragm dried and hard, the primer bulb disintegrated, and the air filter shrunken and hard. It took me an hour to free up the piston with WD40 and a pair of channe locks. I then installed this kit in 15 min flat. Filled the tank with fresh premix and it fired right up on the second pull! It smoked a bit, probably until the ring freed up. Then cleared out and ran perfectly for another hour before I shut it down. Great product!
