I bought this cheap case to get me by until I could order this expensive custom case I wanted. Well, 4 months later I have no desire to change cases. I've always had Ballistic, Otterbox, or LifeProof and I'm a pro at breaking phones even in those highly protective cases. So, I just know the slightest drop and, bam, it's over. NOT! Been dropped many times and not a scratch. I like the kickstand and the camera cover. While being shipped I had already determined both would be removed. I decided to try them and absolutely love em! This case is AWESOME! The only con I'll give it is I've not had any luck with the mag back thing. I have a magnet mount phone holder for the car that is strong but the metal ring on the back doesn't stick strong to it like maybe it's more of an alloy than metal. I haven't researched the mag back feature so maybe it's because my car phone holder is older before mag back existed therefore I can't fault the case. I'd upload a pic but my phone don't take selfies and a pic of the empty case would be useless. Lol

The case works well and protects the camera well. BUT the kickstand now does not fold back into place properly which is a major hassle for carrying the phone. Tongate has rectified the issue and I have upgraded my rating from 3 to 5 stars.I had this case for a little over 6 months when the kickstand failed to close correctly. As a result of this initial review, Tongate reached out to me, and provided a replacement case. Since I had not reached out to them, I am impressed that they replaced the case with no fuss - it was easy. They seem to care about their image and their customers.

When looking for a case everyone tries to check certain boxes, for me they are looks, protection, and functionality.Looks: I got the titanium version and it looks fantastic, the titanium color matches the titanium grey of the phone and with the dual tone black/titanium grey with the red and carbon fiber accents I think they nailed it!Protection: Only time will tell and I don't plan on dropping/throwing my phone to test, but overall the case feels solid. The corners are reinforced and the front lip is slightly raised so it should survive a front drop on a flat surface. It also has the camera protector flap if that's important to you, but I'm not a big fan.Functionality: Magsafe compatibility- check, wireless charging- check, built in kickstand- check. Only thing missing I'd say would be a lanyard hole. The Magsafe magnets seem plenty strong and the kickstand is highly adjustable and stable.The negatives I have with the case are subjective, but are important I think to point out. The first would be I wish there as a mechanical lock for the kickstand such as a snap so it would be more secure. When the kickstand is in the closed position it is slightly loose so I can see that possibly getting worse over time.The only other gripe I have is the lense protector, I wish it was removable or that there was a version of the case without it. Personally I think it looks a bit tacky and I don't like having to pop it open every time I need to take a picture, that extra second or 2 of opening the flap can cost you the optimal picture. I tried to find a clean way to remove it but it seems the hinge panel is super glued in place, I ended up breaking it off which left a metal shard sticking up, I'll try to file it down down later but overall I think it looks better without and won't miss it.Overall I would recommend this case, it pretty much checks all the boxes and seems to be well made.

I really didn't know what to expect on this case. It has a couple of cons, but the pros far outweigh it!I always expect the ring kickstand to be flimsy and weak, but this one is not! It holds tight and the hinge feels very strong and it stays where I put it. I'll say it's not extremely comfortable to use it as a holding device in my hand though. I'll say the same about the camera lens cover. It feels very solid and the hinge is very strong. It also snaps into place so you don't have to worry about it just flapping open. The case feels very solid and rugged, which I was quite surprised about. One of the cons is that it is a little heavy and bulky. Not as bulky as say an OtterBox Defender case but it's definitely not an ultra thin case. You definitely know it's there! .It will stay on my charging magnet in the car, but if I hit a good bump it will fall off. Charging seems to be about the same speed it was before I put the case on, so no complaints there. Overall, a great case, and I like that it has a glass screen protector as well!

I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out for me but I was very impressed! The case comes with a "full" screen protector, no camera cutout, and its fantastic! High quality case and glass. I love the hinged camera door flap cover, its not cheesy. The phone can be wirelessly charged in the case because of the magnets in the ring. Im very impressed with this product and would buy from Tonegate again!!

This case was better than I expected. I work in the oilfield so I need a durable case, but I hate having to carry such a bulky case. This case is slim, durable, the magsafe ring works perfect. I like the idea that it also protects my camera lenses. There is a small thin padding in there that gives it more protection. Overall I love this case.

Fits my phone perfectly..Comfy to hold..helps to have the ring at the back...makes life easier....The camera cover is awesome...keeps my camera lenses protected from dirt.I also find it easier to handle my phone...more secure grip.This case seems tough.Screen is sensative to fingerprint scan...I have had my phone since Jan 5 2025...and it is now march 18tj 2025....I love this cover...only issue is I dropped it only once on my wooden floor and it cracked on the frame above the camera lens...and now the camera cover does not shut properly..Really sad as the design of this cover is so nice.
