Great knife
I'm a chef of almost 20 years. This thing is like a light sabre, it cuts right through with ease. Probably my favorite knife to date, I've usually used Wusthoff. It is as comfy as it looks as well.My coworker has 30+ years experience in kitchens, she said "now that's how a knife is supposed to feel."So yeah I like it. I've used it for a couple shifts and it has held it's razor sharp blade... And the quality of steel, I imagine it will hold it's sharpness for the long haul.Full Tang, super comfy and just about the perfect weight. Not too heavy. If you work at a restaurant, this will be the best knife in the collective. If you're a home cook, it's a lifetime piece.

Outstanding Quality of a knife!
I loved everything about the knife! As a beginner chef knife I would highly recommend it to anyone. The moment I took it out of the box and held it for the first time I fell in love with it. It's so we'll balanced and has a fantastic transition from the bolster of the knife to the blade. It allows for a sturdier grip on the knife itself while in a maximum comfort. The wieght of the handle balances out the lighter blade and makes it feel as if it where a peace of paper allowing for more dexterity and overall control of the knife itself. The first thing I cut with it was a few tomatoes to test the sharpness. During the cutting I've never had a more controllable knife as well as sharp. I've never had a knife slice through a tomato like this one did. 10/10 would recommend to any and all beginner chefs.

Good for home use, leaves a few things to be desired
Imthe handle is heavy but no obnoxiously heavy and has a nice hand feel. It has some flex but not in a bad way. The flex is enough to warn you of too much force but not a concern while cutting. Gave 4 stars because while it is sharp and ready to use out of the box, I need to get it professionally sharpened and would prefer a sheath over the bulk box it comes in.

Perfect knife that is versatile for almost any task!
This is a perfect knife in my opinion. It has a slightly more rounded belly than the Santoku knife, but still as a nice flat blade so makes it very good for slicing work. The nose of the blade is slightly curved which means you can also use the rocking motion style of cutting too. I find the 9” blade is about the perfect size and so far, I have used this to cut up a mountain of various veg, various fruit and several large beef joints. It’s perfectly balanced, razor sharp and the handle is extremely comfortable – what more could you ask for. 5-STAR’s every day of the week – love it!!

Bang for the Buck...BOOM Baby
The round handle scared me for about 2 seconds when I first picked it up. I thought it might be slippery or hard to control, incorrect. Super easy to control, sharp, great size (big for some, but I love a 9 inch chef's knife...better leverage). The thing that puts this in the Awesome category is the price. For $125-200 I'm sure you can find a knife as good as this, but this knife cost me $50...crazy good for the price. Highly recommended.

No opinion at this time
Very sharp, great cutting vegetables and fruit. Haven't tried with meat yet. Need to give a few months before I can really voice my opinion.

This is a great knife. A real workhorse
This is a great knife. A real workhorse. It's great for all around use, even for cutting bread. I don't even bother with bread knives. What I really like about Zelite is they don't have hilts on the blade so you can sharpen the entire length of the blade. The handle is comfortable, the blade balanced, over all it feels really good and solid I the hand. After 14 years of cooking professionally, I've gotten pretty picky about my knives and I can say this one is a keeper.

Quality Knife, perfect sharpness, well balanced with beautiful design and fabrication
Bought this Japanese style 9" chefs knife. Supplier dispatched promptly and the item arrived as specified. Packaged in a beautiful display/storage case. The knive is perfectly sharp, that is, sharp enough to make working with meat and vegetables a sinch but not overly sharp so the cutting edge is less durable.Very good all rounder chefs knive, well balanced although the 9" blade is a little longer than I am used to, it feels versatile and of the highest quality fabrication and materials. I have always used a 8" chefs knife for all cooking prep so I thought I would be the same for this 9" knife, but I have to admit that I have also purchased the 6" Zelite Comfort-Pro Series as well, which I also recomend highly and this will be used more frequently. However, that being said this chefs knife is far superior to any knife I have used before and I have used professional grade knives in previous jobs as a commie chef and as a fishmonger.I can just tell that both knives will be very easily maintained, retaining a good cutting edge with a limited amount of honing or sharpening and will last a very long time, That being said this will not be going anywhere close to a dishwasher!!!

Muy afilado
De momento, me gusta todo, afilado y un poco más grande que los cuchillos chef habituales, unos 3 cm, pero está bien compensado. Lo he usado poco por lo que no puedo opinar sobre la durabilidad del filo.
