It's very sturdy, good quality. When opening it, you can tell it's a solid product. I was worried it would fall apart like another I had bought. (Different brand) And that other one distroid my cars dashboard. I checked the ends to make sure that this one had a solid build, so that the ends didn't pop out and scratch the dashboard. Which I immediately noticed that the double stiching and material they used was of good quality. The legs of the umbrella holding it out in the tips are this coil and not sharp points. Which allows the ends to fold and bend easily to mold to your windshield shaoe. And I guess are also made that way so they won't rip out of the ends they're in and scratch your dash. I might happen gotten it a bit too large for my car. I have a Mazda CX-30 and it seems a tad bit too big, but otherwise fits great. It's kinda cumbersome to open in the car and fit it to the windshield, which is why I think I got a size too big. I'll be keeping it, and see how it flies after a month of use.

I think it's a well implemented product -- but it's too large for my 2020 Cadillac CT4. Also, the bendable pole is very nice for keeping out of the way of controls below the dashboard, but you have to make sure it's straight for the shade to open and close correctly. I'm giving it four stars, not five, because I have to wrestle with it a bit -- and I'm not entirely sure whether that's a function of the product itself or a function of the size of the forward interior of the car.

The ease in which this window shade can be installed is perfect for any one who may travel alone or moms with kids, who have their hands full getting into and out of the car. It pops open easily with minimal effort and opens like an umbrella. The supports in the shade are very sturdy and it covers the entire windshield of a 2015 BMW X5 perfectly. The handy storage case makes sliding it into the case for storing in the seat pocket or in the door pocket while driving so easy. It has helped reduce the heat build up in the Florida heat!!

This is big and bulky. It was hard to get into place. It also left a dent in my dash from the pressure. It will be going into the garbage. Waste of money.

My wife ordered this for my pickup and I thought it I would hate it. *but I did not tell her that*. To my surprise it works great. Folds up so easy and stores nice. Pops right back open when using it.I have to admit, it is great. So glad I kept my initial opinion to my self!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this to replace a very cheap version that was given to me purchased from Temu. That umbrella's bones tore out of the side and scratched the car interior near the corner of the windshield.This umbrella has reinforced ends that prevent the bones from popping out. It has a split in the middle for the rear view mirror and it's pretty big. It's a very snug fit in my Chevy Impala. So the coverage is good for large windshields.It keeps the car cooler in this 9000 degrees Southern Texas heat and the flexible stem makes it easy to fit on the dashboard.Unfortunately just after three lousy weeks of continuous use, the bendy part has started to slip out of the metal at the top. I attached a video for visual details.This is causing two major problems.1. This umbrella will NOT close (or open) if the stem isn't straight. So with the bendy part coming loose, it's murder trying to open and close this thing.2. Now the part that bends doesn't bend anymore. It bends at the "break" which makes it no longer fit snuggly in the windshield.I assumed by doing research on the quality of the umbrella itself would've eliminated any problems.But clearly that is not true in this case because I barely got a months worth of usage before it broke.

I bought this to try to keep my car a little cooler in the summer. It works good. It’s just a little difficult to get open sometimes and it’s also hard to get in place at times. Overall, I’m satisfied. I make it work. Seems to be pretty sturdy.
