Talens Ecoline 10 brush pens.

I have bought so many sets of brush pens that were disappointing and just decided I couldn’t do brush writing. Then I was recommended these by a friend to try and they are brilliant x I can write well with them and they are so easy to use.

My only problem with them was the ability to find them amongst so many similar items. Once received I found them to be as I anticipated.........rich in colour and easily blended with water. I own only the primary, bright colours at the moment but will, hopefully, build my collection in time.

The photo is my first attempt at using these pens properly except for a pen test (apologies for the bad lightening but the colour is accurate).These brush pens are already some of my favourite. The colours are vibrant, the nib is very flexible which means you can get good differences between thin and thick strokes. Might be difficult to control for beginner letters due to how soft the tip is. But with some experience, these are brilliant for brush lettering and modern calligraphy. Cannot fault them! Also, good quality paper is a must otherwise they won't look great but this is NOT the pens, but your paper - so this needs to be kept in mind. Would 100% recommend and will be buying more.

Love these pens ! Great for large handlettering. Make sure you have a good bleedproof paper or even printer card as they are quite juicy. I used them on water colour paper and they bleed out

I've been using these pens for 2 months now. They are excellent and I am extremely impressed. In my pack I got 10 pens with a brilliant mix of bright, blend-able colours. The brush nib is flexible and easy to use with some practice, they are perfect for brush lettering. I was especially impressed with the way these pens blend with water, you can truly get a genuine watercolour affect without much effort, making them a great addition to any artist's pen collection. I will definitely be buying these again.

Very good brush pens! These have watercolour so have a lot more liquid than other brush pens and are quite flexible so maybe not for beginners but they’re really good when you get the hand of it.
