My sweetheart loved the book and found it very entertaining and educational.

I was disapointed with this book. I was hoping it would have more pictures and close ups of the clothing, etc. Her other book " It's All About The Accessories" is "the" best book yet! I was hoping this book would be like that one. If you are a beginner collector it could help you, but with all the descriptions and no pictures to see what she list it wont help that much. I would like to see her put out a book with all the vintage and mod clothing pictured like the Accessories book, that would be wonderful and I surely would buy it no matter how much it cost! I also would love her to put out a book on the "Best Buy" clothing and accessories and also the "Get Ups N Go" line.

Excellent pictures and descriptions. I wish there were pictures of more item. Barbies Closet does a better job of that. I cross reference with several books to get all the information I need. I wish someone would make a book with everything in it, with photo's for all!

This book has wonderful pictures and good information on vintage Barbies, Skippers and Ken dolls. It is limited to older Barbies, Pre-1970 but the photos and pricing information is very helpful in understanding what collecting and collectors of Barbies is about. On its own it is really just a start in educating collectors on these dolls but it is a good addition to any library.

I love to look at the "vintage" photos of Barbies and accessories. The originals were of a better quality than now days, and takes me back to my childhood. Wish I still had my Barbie dolls and accessories from when I was a child.

Was disappointed in this book. While it had a lot of Barbie information crammed into it, I found a lot of outfits not included. I was especially disappointed in the scant information on Francie and Skipper.

Liked the pictures of the fashions.

Libro stupendo con tantissime immagini che ripercorrono l'evoluzione della Barbie e degli altri personaggi Mattel fino agli anni' 70,completo di valutazioni.Indicato sia per i collezionisti intenditori ma anche a semplici appassionati. Tenete conto che il libro è in inglese ma corredato da tante foto,interessante anche per chi non conoscesse la lingua.

Libri bellissimo per i collezionisti veramente molto utile. Foto dettagliate come pure le descrizioni. Non ci sono moltissime foto e mancano alcuni fashion esclusivi per il mercato europeo ( vedi il famoso Saint Mauritz o Primi freddi che non c'è) ma comunque lo consiglio

When I was pricing out my collection, this was the only book I could find. It is pretty good as it has photos of most of the dolls. It only goes up until the early 1970s so it is for vintage collectors. I wish it had more photos of the outfits. Overall useful to the early barbie collector.
