This tankini suit offers endless comfort and performance for young swimmers. Constructed with new creora highclo fabric, it resists the harsh effects of chlorine for lasting fit and comfort. Athletic design features bright splices of color, a racerback with keyhole opening and silicone grippers at the leg opening for no wedge worries.

Excellent quality, fully lined:
Most suits are lined in the front. I do not like the manner in which most girls suits cling and, when wet, become nearly see-through on the posterior. I have a difficult time finding suits which are also lined in the back. The lighter colors for this style are fully lined. This is not the case with all Speedo girls suits, but there are quite a few. Check the Speedo website to find the specific styles that are fully lined, as the descriptions here do not always contain that information. The no-wedgie feature works! The rear of leg openings have a small piece of silicone on them. I was skeptical when I saw them. I wasn't sure if the little strip would feel weird, but the feature is so comfortable, my daughter (8 years old) didn't even notice. The no-slip works very well, too. Of course the back has occasion to ride up, but it does not manage to get far, and it is not nearly as often as standard suits. So, there is not much tugging required, even after vigorous activity. The style is conservative enough for me, but gives my daughter the look and ease of a two-piece. I am not overly conservative, I like the suit style to be age-appropriate. Many of her friends are wearing teenage-style bikinis, and that is not my preference at this age.She is tall, with a longer torso. The bottoms come up to about belly button level. They are not a low-cut style, but also not fully up to the waist (which would take away the two-piece look). The top is long enough to cover enough of her torso. Since she is taller, there is perhaps an inch more of midriff visible than would be on an average height. Still, the appearance remains appropriate. The back does have a cut-out style, it is a cute detail. This is a Speedo, so the top still does not shift about; is not going anywhere.

Bought two sizes bigger, fits great, love the style!
I bought a size 5 for my three and a half year old. She is around the 50th percentile for height and weight (very average), and is currently about 32 pounds. She is wearing 3T clothing, and will be ready for 4T in a couple of months when we buy fall clothes. Based on other reviews, I ordered up a couple of sizes and the size 5 fits very well. It is slightly big, so I hope we will get a full year's use out of it, but it is not so big that I worry about it falling off when she is swimming. The tankini really appealed to me because, while I appreciate the conservativeness of a one-piece for my little girl, having the bottoms separate from the top makes it infinitely easier for her to go to the bathroom when the suit is wet. (Those wet one-pieces are incredibly difficult to get back on!). Right now, the top slightly overlaps the bottom when she wears the suit, so it looks like a one piece. I imagine as she grows, a small slice of her tummy may show, but I am okay with that. The bottoms cover well and don't ride up when she moves around, and the racerback style stays in place (no skinny straps to fall off her shoulders). At the Amazon price, which was less than half of what is listed on Speedo's website for this suit, I will definitely return to Amazon to look for another Speedo suit when she outgrows this one!

Fits like all Speedo suits
We like speedo for how durable it is. My daughter has a longer torso and no hiney. So Speedo doesn't fit her right. The one piece suits cut her a bit tight length wise once you get one that fits her bottom. So thus I went for the two piece, but I still need to take the bottoms in at the sides in order to make them fit correctly. Otherwise color is great, quality is great. I am used to fixing items for her anyway.

Nice Suit for a non-Girly Girl
My daughter is a nightmare when it comes to buying swimming suits: no pink, no ruffles, no hearts or peace signs, no sparkles, etc. And then she's inexplicably picky even about the plain ones. In despair, I searched girls swimwear on amazon, figuring there would be a wide selection. She picked this one and has been wearing it in the pool ever since it arrived. The fit is good, it seems durable and it's cute while not being in any way ostentatious. Go Speedo!

Ok, but the panties were large
This is a good brand and a good product.. however the panty is big.. The upper garment (swimsuit) is ok and fits right, but the lower part (panties) is big that made me think if it was the correct "partner" of the upper garment.

Too small
I had high expectations for this suit for my 11 year old daughter. After reading other reviews I ordered size 16 for her in hopes that it would fit. Unfortunately even the size 16 was too small for her. Disappointed.

Hard to Fit Tall & Slim Swimmers. Fell apart after 10 uses.
My oldest daughter was between sizes in her measurements so we got the 14 instead of a 12. It was a little big in the circumference of the trunk part of the suit so I had to take it in to make it form fitting to swim in. A little unorthodox concerning suits...but 13, or a 12 long, isn't a girl's size. We're making it work.Update:After a visit to a friends back yard pool the suit literally fell apart. I'm not sure what the cause was but it shouldn't have happened after just 10 or so uses. As we were past the 30 day return policy of Amazon we contacted Speedo. They refused to help and insisted we needed to return the item through Amazon. Very frustrating. Probably will look for another brand as the cost wasn't backed up by the quality or customer service. Reduced our Rating from 4 stars to 2.

Great quality!
My daughter has outgrown one of these suites already and I am purchasing another. The suit fits her really well with no worries of riding up or having to adjust. It has survived summer swimming and swim lessons in chlorinated pools. The bottom did start to pill but that wasn't until a lot of use and perhaps sitting on the concrete next to the pool. The material has not thinned or relaxed in any way. We have had many Lands End suits and this one blows them out of the water! Great quality!
