EASY TO INSTALL!
I was shocked when I got them because they are super lightweight! I didn't even need to use a screw to mount it to the wall because a flat thumb tack worked and held with ease. I love the different mounting options, especially the magnetic ones that allow you to install on a ceiling without putting holes all over. I wish the cord was longer because I can't hang them where I want to unless I get extension cords and I don't really want those showing on my walls. They didn't come with mounting instructions, or instructions of any kind, so if you don't have common sense you might have difficulty and wonder what all the pieces in the bags are for and where they go. Not a high quality, and not super bright, but they function as intended.

Cannot chain together
These little lights have limited usefulness for displaying uranium glass because they cannot chain together. If you want single lights to shed extra UV on a a few special display pieces, though, they are useful for that.

Surprisingly impressive UV light
I am quite surprised to find that these UV lights are quite bright. Even in mid day in the house with the curtains shut it does light up a large area in the living room. In the dark it excels at making things light up.You can run these from a power bank, USB charger or even a laptop. And really amazing is that they also make Sodalites (Yooperlites) - glowing stones - light up although faintly. It even shows some of the other orange and blue glowing stones although quite faint. For $6 each this is a great deal!!!!

PORTABLE BLACK LIGHT ADVENTURES!
I'm a sucker for just about anything black light related, and these were too convenient not to try out!WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:Two one-foot long USB powered black light LED strips, ready to ROCK. These are PERFECT for lighting a black light tapestry or poster, and any sort of area that's hard to get to or tight on space that is in need of some surreal purple essence of THE LAND OF BLACK LIGHT cast upon it!They're so light, with the USB power cords you can use them pretty much anywhere you can plug in a USB cord - convenient on/off switches are built into the wires.Provided with them are the screws and mounts needed to attach it to a wall, etc. There's magnets on the backs made for the mounting system, but would also hold the lights up if attached to some type of adequate metal surface. They would also be easy to mount up with some decent double sided tape.Take a USB power bank and you could use them ANYWHERE... a car, a tent, an office cubicle, the woods, an abandoned flour mill or long forgotten graveyard...Very decent black light coverage for their size. New style LED black lights are more of a blue-purple than the old tube lamp style black lights, and give off more "light", but both cause the same shockingly beautiful glow when it hits florescent, UV reactive or glow in the dark materials and the like. Part of the fun is finding what things look like under the black light, and what GLOWS like a NEON MIDNIGHT SUN in it's presence...DRAWBACKS OR ISSUES?None I can think of. They're small, lightweight, give off a respectable glow, multi-purpose and affordable.WELCOME TO THE LAND OF THE VIOLET SUN... GLOW NOW IN PURPLE-BLUE BLISS!

Puts out too much visible light
This USB Ultraviolet light bar puts out too much visible light. The visible light drowns out the UV portion causing any phosphorescence of posters, rocks or pet urine to be washed out and difficult to see.The manufacturer mentioned this is an UV with a 395nm - 405nm (nanometers), it is too far out of range to cause phosphorescent items to glow. Most quality UV light bar uses UV rated at 365nm. This is the optimal UV radiation to cause items to glow. Additionally, there is no band pass filter to block all visible light, admitting UV only. Without a band pass filter, the visible light will drown out the UV making things like animal urine stains difficult to see. However, at the price of $12.99 for 2 bars, can't expect too much from the light bars.Con:1. UV radiation rated at 395nm to 405nm. (nanometers). Out of range of UV radiation for maximum phosphorescent. Need to be rated at 365nm2. Puts ouf too much visible light.Plus:1. Powered by USB A2. Comes with two light bars.

Cute
My kids like these for their room and they work great above or below a blacklight poster. It is not strong enough to do a large area but all in all they serve their purpose and work good.

Easy to hang. Work perfect for my tapestry, which was my main reason for getting them.
