Great option for a broken Key
Worked as intended, but I knew what I was getting going into it. It seems most of the people who left bad reviews didn't understand what they were buying. The quality seems very similar to that of the OEM. I swapped the internals from my existing broken key. One thing worth of note was that neither Home Depot nor Walmart would cut the key, because they want to sell you an entire key. I ended up having to use a locksmith to cut the key. Still ended up being way cheaper than replacing through the dealership.

Good and cheap way to replace broken Honda keys
It’s the key blade with the empty key fob; you have to transfer the remote part from your old key. It DOES NOT come cut for your vehicle. You have to get it cut at a dealership or by a locksmith. If the blank back bothers you, you can get an original replacement.

Perfect fit and excellent quality
Shell came half open to save trouble opening it. I just replaced the back of the key and it took me just a minute. Back peace fits perfectly with the original front price. really good quality and installation was super easy.

The physical Metal Key cannot be moved between cases
This product consists of the outer key case that has the metal key bonded to it and an inner Electronic Module case or holder that fits inside the outer case. The moving of the module from the old key case to the new one was easy and painless. However as a title suggests you cannot move the old metal key portion from the old case to the new case. It looks like the metal portion of the key is bonded at the factory to the outer case. It could conceivably be ground out but I didn't try

VALET KEY NOT A FOB
This is just an over priced Valet key - Not a Functioning Fob as I wrongly thought. I didn't mind having to have the key cut but no electronics inside that was disappointing. I don't recommend buying this product unless you fully understand it is NOT PROGRAMMED, NO ELECTRONICS INSIDE, NO BATTERY - Just an empty shell.

It worked!
I ordered these two blank keys because my original keys worked— they just were broken in 2 pieces. You will have to find someone who cuts “indented double sided keys”. Look for a locksmith. My locksmith was skeptical but it worked and he charged me $60 for the service and did the 2nd key free. (As previous people have said you can’t just swap the keys because the blank key is imbedded into the shell, you can just swap out the computer part of it . After years of juggling a key that was basically in two pieces, I really wish I’d done this sooner. I’d suggest finding someone who can cut a double sided key first. The dealer was going to be $269

Money saver!
Money saver! Our original key broke off the fob and any replacement we could find was $75+. Bought this and took everything to an Ace Hardware and got the blank cut for $10. The original button part fit perfectly in this shell. Great option, instead of paying the dealership highway robbery prices!

Breaks but cheaper than a new one
Breaks every three months so i have repeatedly ordered it and just keep putting the guts of my fob into a new case but its cheaper than buying a new one at the stealership
