The product works with browser connections to youtube and the youtube app, and it projects my ipad 9th generation desktop onto an external monitor/t through an hdmi cable. It also works with the Timeless Today app.This device is not compatible with Amazon Prime Video which shows a message "does not meet hdcp protection standards". Ads show but screen goes dark and only audio feeds to the tv when a movie or tv show starts. It is not compatible with Netflix which just spins indefinitely and won't play movies. It works to show ads on the PBS Passport app, but when the tv show plays the screen blacks out and only audio feeds to the tv.The adapter gets very hot when connected.

Very simple device and easy to use. Literally like a plug&play type of product. Shows exactly is on the phone with a very nice picture.

I’m usually pretty savvy about tech things and can figure things out quickly. This seemed pretty straight forward, and unless it was defective, it was useless no device I tried iPhones,iPads, etc. would connect via this adapter.

Would not work with any video apps like Hulu, Peacock, Paramount, Prime, etc... due to HDCP copyright. Only works with YouTube.

It gets hot but so what dude it works
