This light is a tank....quality amazing....almost perfect....whats not....the metal plate on the shoe is a wee bit rectangular not square which means you cannot mount any direction..creates a problem when using extended shoe bars that run side to side..tried unscrewing the little screws on the plate to shift it 90 degrees..no can do....so if you wanted to put two lights which I did....you might try grinding a bit on the sides to square it......the unit can take a wall dc 15 volt charger but was not included......barn doors are great..body made of strong aluminum....the tilt is nice GoPro style.... and if you are going to just use the light directly on the camera shoe..no problem as the shoe orientation will be fine...

I've been using my iPhone and this kit for taking photos of used items that I've put up for sale. It makes a huge difference in the quality of the photos. The included accessories are also very practical (not gimmicky). However, the kit does not include an AC adapter. That would be really helpful for anyone who is working for an extended time. A perfect lighting solution for any videographer who is looking for something rugged, well designed and extremely portable with the ability to dim or brighten the light and adjust from 32k warm up to 56k cool and everywhere in between, all while remaining FLICKER-FREE! I shot a wedding and found the battery still had full power at the end of the night, but I would still recommend at least one or two backup batteries to be on the safe side- better to have them and not need them than get stuck by the time they are cutting the cake at the end of the day. People have said this thing weighs a ton, but honestly, I didn't even notice it when it was perched atop my mid-sized camera. The barn doors on mine were very nice although I have seen many versions that are identical but no barn doors. Some versions have a hard case and or a remote control- mine came with neither. But overall I think the weakest link is the cold shoe mount which is actually extremely rugged and sturdy, but still had a certain cheap feel to it- would have preferred it was made out of metal, but honestly, it is absolutely NOT a deal breaker!My end thoughts are, this is definitely a light worth considering if you are looking for a perfect combination of value, rugged design, reliability and versatility!

One word. WOW! What a great value for this high quality LED light. It’s compact but very rugged. The level of brightness is good for simple portraits or macro photography. You can use for many utilitarian purposes such as if your residential electricity power company gets knocked out from a storm or if you need a brighter light in your automobile to find a lost item.

Very bright light for it's size and a great price. And the barn doors come in very handy. I added a little 216 diffusion and attached it the the barn doors to soften the light up a little and it makes a great indoor keylight for an interview.

This light is amazing!! I've already bought a second one. Use it plugged in and on battery. CRI is phenomenal. Only prob is it is heavy so need a lighter one to use on camera. Tried quite a few and nothing comes close this light so hoping they come out with a 'half size' usb version to use on camera. Trust me, you want this light.

I got this light a few weeks ago and now it does not work as it is supposed to. Before the malfunction the product worked great and the range of brightness and color temperature were very useful. However on about the 10th use of the light, the controls stopped working and immediately once the battery is attached the light turns on to max brightness and none of the controls work, leaving it at one setting.

Because of the solid build quality, This Thing is HEAVY! I just tripled the the weight of my setup with the Canon M50 and Rode Mic Pro+. I'm not sure if the rig will balance on my Ronin SC with this light. If I need to move around with this setup I will need to use two hands panning with my Benro carbon tripod

Great product! High quality light and with so many features! The light it produces is good and it’s size is so convenient! Not high power, of course, just manages as a fill light but wouldn’t if it’s up against a powerful key light. Does fine as a hot shoe light (like it’s designed to be) if the subject is within a few metres. Amazing value when you consider that it comes with battery and charger! Battery life is acceptable. I’ve used it for about an hour and it dropped to about 50% charge. There is a remote sold separately for this light but only available on Ali Express with lengthy international shopping times! To have the remote more readily available especially on Amazon would be great

This is the first led lighting solution I have used for videography and very satisfied with the overall build and functionality for the price.Sturdy design with barn doors to adjust lighting direction. There was no carry bag though I feel the steel barn doors provide sufficient protection for the led lights.Warmth adjustment and dimmable controls very useful.At full charge and maximum power, the provided battery lasted approx 90 minutes.Full charge takes around 3-4 hours.Depending on usage, purchasing an AC/DC adaptor is recommended. Would have been great if this was an optional purchase.Overall for the price, a very handy lighting solution. Just be mindful of power requirements depending on duration of use.

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent little compact fill Light perfect for low light situations! Works both for photo and video, quality of the product is amazing as you can tell from the pictures, and it has all the functions needed to adjust the strength of the light and the colour temperature, also a great design for cooling system so that the light is not overheated. The LED display is also innovated allowing me to see the numbers directly without any guessing. Would definitely recommend to people who in need to light up their scenes.

This is very solid. Doesn't feel plasticky or cheap. Quite sturdy when put into the camera. The size is perfect for my DSLR as it is neither too big nor too small. The barn doors works perfect for directing the light into my subjects. It is quite easy to change the colour temperature and intensity of the light with the buttons located at the back. This is bargain for the price it is being offered.

This is a nice compact light and easy to use but the battery life is surprisingly short. It stopped working mid job despite having been fully charged. I was a bit surprised at how little it lasts on a charge. This makes it unreliable and disappointing. Generally good but you will need to take spare batteries and they are extra.
