I was very happy with this Robert's product. The description for performing carpet job I was doing was on spot. I highly recommend the staple gun.

After reading reviews, I purchased this staple gun to jazz-up some plain counter height chairs in our nook/family room with some faux cowhide. I had only upholstered once before and had used a low priced electric stapler that had no power and just killed my hands and didn’t want to go through that again. I nearly went with an air driven model but didn’t want to have to purchase a compressor and have all that bulk. This Staple gun is amazing. It’s easy to use, load and has a real kick to it. The staple heads are smaller than others but they sure hold well. In fact, I really wouldn’t want to have to tear them out as they seem so secure. Fits nicely in your hand, no misfiring and where you aim is where it lands. Has a nice long cord also and came securely packaged with a good carrying case. I recovered the fronts of 6 chairs in an afternoon and most of that was removing the previous tacks and staples. This tool made it so easy and the way the head is shaped I could get into harder to reach areas. Looking around now for more projects as I’m looking forward to using it again! One Month later: I just used my Roberts Staple gun to recover a very large cornice board that I didn't take down off the wall and it was soooo easy! Even though I didn't have a lot of space to work around the top I was able to fire staples in at an angle and they hold so well. LOVE IT!

This is, "the tool" for re-attaching stair and floor carpeting over hardwood. We tried many others that failed. This worked flawlessly. Excellent product.

I used it for 1 project, put carpet on a stairs. It worked just fine, no jams. the size and weight is right, comfortable to use, but there no safety or any lock at all. You could easily accidently shot it and injure yourself or someone

I should have bought this years ago.. It made carpetyng the stairs a breeze! Its not heavy but it is poweful! I would recommend this for Dyi projects like carpeting..or even if kitchen drawers are coming apart..staples are small and barely seen...

I really enjoyed working with this stapler. It feels nice, reloading is smooth, powerful enough to punch through padding and carpet. So far I haven’t experienced a jam yet. There’s a spot to hold your box of staples inside the tool box which is awesome. Thing that I loved the most is that it was plastic wrapped. Knowing for sure I’m the first one to open it and use it. I love the details!

Excelente opcion, a buen precio

After reading the reviews, I bought this, as my electric upholstery stapler had just given up the ghost, and I have a couple of big jobs this week. Ordered on Friday, showed up two hours ago on Sunday evening. Gotta love prime. Decided on this based on reviews and Prime shipping, as the other brand I normally use isn't on Amazon and it won't show up until Thursday or Friday. Nice blow molded case, gun felt good in hand and seemed to be solidly built. Much to my extreme disappointment, the Roberts stapler failed on the VERY FIRST TRIGGER pull. Seriously. Took it out of the box, loaded it, plugged it in, and pulled the trigger. It fired, and something broke internally, because the anvil won't retract/reset. NOTHING in the instructions about what to do if that happens, so I figured it meant it was dead. I'm not taking a brand new gun apart to see what happened. Boxed it right back up, filed a return, and dropped it off at Kohl's Amazon return less than two hours after it was delivered. Fluke? Maybe. Buyer beware is all I can say.

Great stapler, costly, but the job is made easier by using the correct tools.

Purchased this stapler and it broke in less then 20 uses. Screws starting falling out the first couple times i used it then the part that drives the stapler just failed one day and never worked again.

This is an expensive one-trick pony, but if you’re self-installing carpet (especially on stairs) it will make the task easier.
