Great shoes, comfortable, light weight and keep feet dry in light rains. Just wore them for a month traveling in Europe, walking 20-30k steps a day, mostly on rock pavement. and did some hiking , and they work well. Very happy with the product.

Sturdy and comfortable waterproof shoes - good quality for the price. Upper material is a durable synthetic material with a canvas feel, punctuated with vinyl accents and thick reinforcements in the heel and toe area. Midsole is a dense foam - soft but supportive, and the rubber outsole has a good, deep tread and enough grip to prevent easy slippage. The insole is very soft and springy, especially in the heel. A very comfortable shoe overall. I'm not convinced, though, that 'hiking shoes' is the best way to characterize them. The outsole is too stiff for this to be a trail runner and they lack a lot of the design elements I'm accustomed to in low-top hiking shoes. They're certainly rugged enough for hiking, but they seem more like work shoes for food service or light manufacturing. They'd also be good shoes for folks that commute in the rain or snow. Overall, though, a good quality shoe for the price. Probably $20-$25 less than a comparable premium brand.

I love these shoes. I own 3 pair. I recently took these with me on a trip to Japan and used them quite a bit as it was rainy. They are great shoes to wear all day. They are definitely waterproof. My feet were dry after a day of walking in the rain. If you ware going to wear them multiple days in a row I would invest in some good insoles. After 3 days my feet were a bit sore. Also, they seem to run a bit small. I would size up half a size.

Pretty good quality. I like how they look. Warning: The back of the shoe goes pretty high causing blisters on my achilles tendon.

Caused shoe bites in the heal area. Light weight but rigid. I would have purchased 8.5 size but they don't make it

I bought these hiking shoes for our three week trip to Bolivia and Peru. They were the only shoes I brought on the trip. I used them for mountain biking down "death road" in Bolivia, hiking on Isla Del Sol, the five day Salkantay hike to Machu Picchu, and walking around Peru. During the biking and hiking there were times when we had to cross streams. My feet stayed dry the entire time. The shoes were incredibly comfortable with a cushiony insole over a firm and grippy sole that allowed me to walk confidently over the rocky trails. I even ran down a few mountains for about an hour each time. The comfort and ruggedness also provided perfect city walking shoes and were exceptionally great for the cobble stone streets that can be slippery with normal shoes. My feet never felt cold (although they are a little warm for temps over 85f). Because of the all the loose rocks, there were a few days on the trip when I wished they were boots covering my ankles but the design did help stabilise my footing and my feet were protected well from the loose rocks. Although I think they will last a very long time, I would buy them again should I need to in the future.
