I bought some shelves for my cat, but they needed comfort (and places my cat can actually put her paws on) and this came up at a good price, and looked like what I needed! It looks really cool, and is self adhesive, which is cool! However, I am going to have to reinforce the edges, as they have come peeled (pictured) within an hour of applying. With a little help, this has been the purrfect product!

So the cats figured it out, and it's saving some of my furniture. Well, it's helping but that's not the product, that's the cats! Very adaptable, cut to the desired size and stick :)

Put it on the wall and then couldn’t remove it completely. Now I will have to scrape it off and likely repaint a wall. Also, my cats aren’t at all interested

“am not really a fan of these for cat towers, they separate from sticky backing after a couple of weeks very easily so will need to be stapled down if used on tower.. I get these in various blue or grey colors to use as runners on are hardwood floors so my big GSD’s don’t hurt themselves running in hallway and in kitchen. they can ruin rugs/runner in weeks due to playing outside and their wildness when playing together inside so these self-adhesive furniture/etc carpet material protectors work out great.. when one starts coming apart, i just replace it with another…HOWEVER, the sticky backing sticks to floor badly and will have to be scraped off..”

This mat helped me save my bed frame since both my cats love to use it a scratcher and with this mat I was able to patch up where they had made holes, the only thing I didn't like was that the adhesive wasn't strong to stay so I just stapled it to the frame and problem solved

Comes rolled up but flattens out in a couple of days. You can cut this to whatever size you need. Backing is on the whole back side. This has multiple uses besides a cat rug.

Prior to using this Fixmend Cat Scratching Mat, I was fighting a losing war. The cats want to be where I am and the couch was something they wanted to mark no matter what I did. I put scratching posts in the way of the couch, praised them for investigating or putting paws on them, gave them lots of treats if they used the scratching posts, but all to no avail. My couch was their favorite and they would choose it even when treats were on the line.However, this product ended the war in a compromising truce. The cats now get to scratch their favorite places, but now they are not ripping my poor couch to shreds. The color of the carpet is neutral enough to work well as an accent to most fabric couches, and the adhesive has pretty good hold even weeks into use. I recommend this product to anyone who is fighting a similar battle with their cats, especially senior cats who struggle with change like mine.

I put this product on two different couches and the day after it’s already coming off from not being sticky enough. Cats didn’t even try using it until it was already pealing off so they just made it fall off even more. Wouldn’t recommend!
