Excellent quality and sound in a gorgeous inexpensive package
The guitar came without an initial set-up, which I took as a compliment. They provide set-up instructions which are easy to understand, and I was able to set the guitar up exactly as I like it. Well done West Creek!

Pretty cool axe.
Got on Prime Day for $135. Good mod platform. Had a few high frets which I leveled and crowned fairly quickly. Neck is straight and not to thin. Neck pocket is loose. Had to shim neck to get proper string height. Nut not cut deep enough. Had to remedy that too. Pickups are garbage. Threw them away and installed some GFS I had lying around. Black hardware completes the look.

Very disappointed/update
I own 2 other Westcreek guitars= incredible value. This guitar is just terrible.Westcreek either needs to quickly turn it's quality control around regarding these fender style guitars OR stick to making Gibson style guitars. What's the problem? Many.2 tuners skip and couple others are tight turning, truss rod that would not move in either direction unless I forced it which im not going to do Bubbles in the finish, unbuffed areas in the finish, fretboard very very dry and gritty, frets gritty, overall set up out of the box= terrible. Guitar feel doesnt have substance. I spent 20 minutes looking over this guitar shaking my head. Ill hold off on another purchase until things get worked out.Update. Westcreek sent a replacement guitar that was FAR worse than this. Nut not cut properly, there is a crack in the wood on the back of the guitar, burrs on a couple of the saddles that broke 2 strings when I played/bent them AND, the neck is crooked in the pocket of the body! Also, thick wax/dried/leak??? covering the bottom area of the pickups, frets that dont reach the end of the fretboard throughout. I'll stop there. Not sure what is going on where these are being made.

Hard to put down
Best guitar for the best price. I have 15 guitars, most of witch I have purchased on line at Amazon. A couple of my guitars are over 40 years old, (and I got them new). This T style guitar is the best of 5 that I have. It is the Fender, PRS, Firefly, etc., that I cannot afford. With the right set up, and Blue Steel 9-42 strings, this guitar plays and stays in tune and plays in tune with other band members. The roasted maple neck is smooth and allows for fast, accurate movement. As with any guitar, you should take it to a magical luthier for setup and intonation. It comes with D'Aderio 110 strings. They are good, but I found them a bit stiff for my kind of plying. If you are looking for a reasonably priced T-style guitar, this is it.

Its a beautiful guitar
I have mixed feelings. Cosmetically the guitar is fantastic. It's just I had to do alot of fret work to make it playable. The frets were polished in the wrong direction causing the string to drag and make a scraping soung when bending a string. You would think the manufacturer would know this. I was going to sell it. But leveled all the frets to get rid of fret buzz I'm holding on to it for now

Redi
This is a wonderful axe for sure, I merely checked the neck, very straight indeed. Just needed a little lemon oil, neck was a bit dry along with head stock. I adjusted the string height and I was ready to Rock, and I did! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I actually own several West Creek guitars and each one is amazing, I Love their necks with binding they are so fluid and feel so great. Good job West Creek! Can't wait to see what's next with these guys!

Needs more set up than it's worth
I really wanted to like this guitar. It looks great and sounds plenty good enough but the one I received needed a lot of work.Neck angle needed the most. Strings were higher than my acoustics. Frets were like bending across 600 sandpaper.I probably could've fixed these issues, but not without voiding the return policy and I didn't want to take the gamble.I sent it back

Great guitar
The maple neck makes this guitar play and sound great. I love the finish too!

Nicely build love the colour
The guitar is great after a few adjustments. Had to internate only 2 strings and after that not a bad guitar. I prefer a maple neck over the rosewood . The front pickup is a bit weird looking but is a very mellow sounding which I like. Fit and finish is very good . Much lighter than my mim tele but the fender has a much nicer neck. For the money it is a good buy. The only problem is fret buzz which I will send in to get corrected. All my other westcreek guitars were fine so I am little disappointed with this guitar. Took the guitar to have it setup . Hopefully when I get back it will be a great guitar

For THIS price??
Fantastic craftsmanship and awesome finish on this guitar. Took a chance on this one... SCORE!! Don't let the price scare you off. Well worth it. I replaced the silver control knobs and the white switch cover all for black. Personal choice, but it looks amazing. I also swapped out the tuners for a set of Grovers. Again, personal choice. Even as-is, this guitar is a great go at this price point.

Sent it back, substandard at best.
I was not impressed with the quality of electronics used, so decided to upgrade existing guitar for less. Liked the red paisley print though, it was a beautiful paint job. Neck was not straight in the pocket although it was set up well. Disappointed only with the sound, even on a quality fender amplifier, Pro185.
