StYccoBond F81 is a solvent free, two-part epoxy adhesive designed for use in areas that may be subject to surface water. When the adhesive has cured it is resistant to water, oil and grease. Although it is suitable for outdoor use, it is not intended to be used as, or a substitute for a waterproof surface membrane. STYCCOBOND F81 can be used for securing a wide range of floorcoverings including some vinyl and rubber floorings, PVC backed synthetic grass carpet and fibrebonded carpets. Refer to the Recommended Adhesives Guide for details of specific floorcoverings. STYCCOBOND F81 has been tested to the standards of the International Maritime Organisation and approved for use in marine floor installations by DNV - Det Norske Veritas. STYCCOBOND F81 can be applied to STOPGAP smoothing underlayments, sound, smooth subfloors of concrete, granolithic, sand/cement screeds, plywood and bright steel. Sound flooring grade asphalt must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing underlayment.
