I recently purchased sphagnum moss for my climbing ivy plants, and I must admit, I was initially skeptical due to its low price. However, upon receiving the package, I quickly realized I had underestimated its value.At first glance, the little block of moss didn't seem like much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much it expanded after soaking. Even after packing my poles with it, I had a significant amount left over. I decided to let the rest dry off in the sun and stored it in ziplock bags for future use. I opted for the 5-quart size, priced at $6.99, and I couldn't be happier with the amount I received. Considering my moss poles were small to begin with, it's safe to say that this purchase exceeded my expectations in terms of both quantity and quality. Highly recommended for anyone in need of sphagnum moss!

My orchids love it! My older orchid is about growing the bloom! It’s worth it!

I did not end up needing this for the project I got it for, but it is of good quality and would have worked great if I had ended up needing it. I’m sure I will use it for another project.

The moss is claimed to be natural moss, so it seems not process much except pressing it into this size. About 1/10 portion can provide around 2 large size of take out soup cups. It absorbs water really slow, at first it’s almost like hydrophobic, and once water starts to break in, it absorbs ok amount of water. Also, it comes with lots of dirt, so the water becomes dirty. I washed it 3-4times and microwaved it to prevent molding later just in case.Overall it provides good volume and definitely absorbs water to maintain moist serving as a material of moss pole.

Gives you plenty of it

I was surprised at how much moss there is in the package. Plenty to do multiple plants with.

This moss has not been cleaned, I had to soak it and wash out all the dirt. Not ideal. Made a mess and I worry about bugs being in it.

Es realmente como se describe y tan solo use un poco. Lo mojas y se expande, muy satisfecho.
