The author walks the reader through installing the Python program, which is filled with photos of the steps to ensure the reader is on the right track. The reader will learn their first program in Python and tons of other fun tricks. The book is best for children at least ten years old. The book is a great birthday or Christmas present for any boy or girl.

Well, I’m not a kid, but I figured, as someone who knows absolutely nothing about computer programming this book would be just my speed, and I was right. It really helped me understand the basic concepts of writing computer programming code.

I am always on the lookout for great books to use in homeschool classes - and programming isn’t something I had considered teaching as a class, until I was gifted this book! It is perfect! Not just for homeschoolers, but for any kids interested in computer programming. It says you can work through it in a month, but I plan to slow it down and really be thorough, as the subject matter can be complicated for some. But this book truly takes it step by step, with examples, exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.Highly recommend!

This book has clear instructions for downloading Python for kids. Then you create a folder to put your python programs. It has a lot of exercises in the book that walks you through each one. You can even create animations on your screen. My fifteen year old is enjoying this book, especially the turtle module. I would recommend it for your kids, it's fun.

We enrolled my grandson in a coding class for kids. He is self professed gamer who wants to development games. This book goes hand in hand with what he's learning. It's a great way to feed a child's interests. The book offers over 100 programs that are kid friendly. Great way to get started. It's great having it in paperback form.

My son is in to the computer programming and understands this workbook more then I do but I got him this book because he wants to be a computer programmer when he is finished and I think that all kids should be interduced to this book if they are in to computers.

A great resource if your kids are interested in Python programming! The interactive exercises kept the material interesting and gave some great application to what they were learning!
