Fabulous!
This kit for creating wonderful magic portions is absolutely fantastic! The box is crammed full of everything you need to make your own little bottles of wonderful spells and potions.I just think it's absolutely magical, I can't wait to use this with my eldest grandchildren in the summer holidays when they come to stay - This will keep them busy for days!I'm not going to try and list everything you get because that would be ridiculous as there is so much but I will do my best, so here goes!In the box you get - Mixing bowls/cauldrons, Magic wands, mixing spoons, funnels, loads of small empty bottles with corks, packs of glitter and sparkle, unicorn horns, Science experiments, Bags of butterflies and vines, Bags of spiders and spiderwebs, Bottles of colourants, cords, flowers, tiny stones, holographic fibres, bottle labels and an easy to follow potion and spell book.Wow there is such a lot in this box, And you can use the box as a display cabinet for all your spells once you've Made and decorated them. There's also a few science experiments included so that's a nice way to get kids interested in that subject from young age. The bottles will look fantastic all made up in different colours with different ingredients in them, And some of the ingredients will glow in the dark.I can't imagine any young kid not wanting to play with this, I'm in my 50s and I want to play with it, it's so good!!This set is incredible value for money, There is so much play value in it and everything feels really nice quality, There's more than enough ingredients supplied to make up all the bottles so you will have loads spare for other crafting projects.

Instructions are lacking
Really fun little potion themed craft kit. Lots of fun and different ingredients to create different effects and looks. The set comes with everything you need to make 20 potions, all you need to do is add water. More can be made with leftover ingredients, if you can get more tiny containers to put them into. There are a few negatives also however. The instructions were not very clear, certain items had been labelled incorrectly on some pages making the 'recipes' hard to work out. For example on the contents list the mermaid tears are shown as yellow however they are actually blue (the bottles themselves are not labelled). There are only 4 specific potion recipes in the book so the others you just make up yourself. Some steps are skipped in the instructions which is quite frustrating. For example, there is a potion where you mix the ingredients in the measuring jug, pour into the potion bottle then add the solidifying powder, however, the instructions do not say to empty the contents before adding the powder so ours solidified before we put it into the potion bottle (this was the first one so we didn't realise that adding the powder would do this). The recommended age is 6 years and over which I think is about right as it is very hard to keep track of all the different bits with younger children around and most ingredients are dangerous if ingested. Good fun to make and look great up on display afterwards as well. Would recommend.

What good fun
Spark creativity with this great potion set. Niece and nephew are with us over the summer and they are going to love this set to keep them busy for at least a day making up different potions. Comes with lots of items included so should last us a while too.

Our daughter (11 at time of review) had a lot of fun with this kit, creating various little potions using the supplied materials.Comes with all you need for the activities, ingredients, mixing containers and little jars to store your creations. The box doubles up as a shelf for your creations! She especially liked the ‘glow in the dark’ ingredient and was disappointed when that ran out!A lot of fun was had.

Magical Garden Potion Kit: A Delight for Young Witches
My daughters are avid garden explorers, often creating imaginative mixtures from flowers, pebbles, sand, and whatever they find outdoors. This potion kit has been a great new toy for their playful experiments! It comes packed with glitter, fairy dust, small vials, artificial flowers, colourings, and more, allowing them to concoct their very own enchanting potions.Inspired by her favourite show, "The Worst Witch," my eldest was thrilled to make her first potion. The kit's box doubles as a charming storage and display case for their magical creations. It's a wonderful gift that has brought so much joy and creativity to their playtime.

My son loves this
Awesome gift, my son loves magic and anything magical and science-y. After all science is magic right? He has had hours of fun, product is amazing. Just like seller said. Be sure an adult is helping out as some pieces are small and glitter will be everywhere for days. Over all amazing product and great price will definitely be buying more.

It's magic time!
The kids love to do science experiments so this kind of gamifies it with the whole magic potion idea. They loved mixing the ingredients and watching the various reactions. The potion bottles are plastic which is much safer than glass. The instructions are relatively easy to follow, but no 6 year old should be expected or allowed to do this without close adult supervision. While it presents as a child's toy, it still contains toxic chemicals. All that said, it's a fun activity set and is very giftable to the right child.

Clever and fun little creative project with some colorful and interesting textures for potions.
Picked this up as a fun activity to share with the little ones together. Stress on the together, for the sake of safety with the materials. Plenty of fun colorful textures included for making potions. The recipe book if a thoughtful inclusion. The bottles are plastic, so no concern for glass breaking. But the materials inside should be considered before handing these out to children to play with.Likes:- Really fun & creative activity for the little ones that know better than to consume the materials, or while under proper supervision.- Includes a recipe book, and all kinds of interesting materials to create fun textured/colorful potions.- Great way to provoke the young imagination.Dislikes:- Not safe for little ones on their own, given the materials.

Magic Potions kit
Several things of note from the start - this kit includes materials that are toxic if ingested, inhaled, or gotten in the eyes or nose, do not let children do this on their own. With appropriate supervision, this seems like a great, fun afternoon idea. There are a lot of bottles included as well as enough of the add-ins and chemicals needed to mix for all the bottles. It comes with stickers to label the potions as "healing" "mana" "wisdom" and some blank ones you could write your own words on. There is a small beaker in which you can mix, a funnel to pour the potions into the bottle, and a bunch of corks to stopper the bottles. I would consider wax or glue sealing the corks into the bottles upon finishing each, as the material should NOT be ingested and you don't want it to be easy to open after completion. There are 2 cauldrons for mixing the solidifying powders in, these do not have covers or corks and also need to be properly stored so no one accidentally ingests the material as the completed projects look inviting. This kit is a good value to me because of all the included materials. Would make a good party activity with adult supervision.
