these are awesome. i couldnt find any good youtube videos so i just kinda winged it using them and got a close to salon quality cut. before id just been using house scissors. all the tools are very sharp, cut through my thick hair super easily, though the thinning shears got stuck a few times but i think that's an operator error iykwim. worked really well on my beard too. the cape was thinner than i expected, it's a sheer fabric instead of the heavy thing, but that was actually much better since i was needing to move my arms. the brush works really good too at getting the small hairs off. there's only one wire.. hairtie.. thing in my picture, but it comes with 3. i just gave the others to my cat. really easy to use, comfortable to hold, probably the easiest haircut ive ever done. only complaint is the bladed comb is hard to clean the hairs out of, but i dont think that's an issue specific to this product. overall way better than i expected given the price

I picked this set up for home use and was impressed with how much you actually get. The scissors feel sharp and cut clean without tugging, and the thinning shears work surprisingly well for blending. It comes with all the little extras (combs, clips, cape, etc.), so you don’t have to scramble for tools when trimming at home. Definitely makes touch-ups between salon visits easier, and it feels like a good value for the price.

Came with everything it said it would, size was exactly to description as well. The thinning shears and cutting shears were not good for cutting human hair. I’d say they are better for synthetic wigs or mannequin heads for practice.

Great set to cut my toddlers hair for the first time. The brush was a little small. Scissors were good size and feel.

I bought these because I only cut my hair at home and my last pair of hair cutting scissors was dull and rusting. A lot comes in this kit, but I wouldn’t say the quality is amazing. My old scissors (from CVS) were much better and cut with little to no resistance. These hair shears, you almost have to do a couple cuts before everything is even. They don’t feel very sharp when you’re cutting a small chunk of hair, I can feel resistance and the hair sliding between the blades. The money vs all you get in this kit is likely worth it, but I wish the scissors were higher quality. I do like that you get standard scissors and the layering scissors. Those are a little tricky to work with but useful. Also, the razor blade comb it comes with is VERY flimsy, bordering on dangerous. It feels like cheap plastic and while I was using it, the fasteners popped open and the razor blades fell out of it mid-strand, and hit the floor, almost cutting my hands and landing on my feet! This happened multiple times during my last 2 uses of this kit. You could easily be cut by it if you aren’t very careful. I decided I would rarely use it because it’s a pain to keep it from popping open during use, and it feels too cheap to bother with.

Good product has quality, it only lacks attention to detail, since the scissor comes with no edge on the tip and the shaker is not round.
