These are amazing! First time storing food with mylar bags and I'm so happy I bought these! Easy to use, thick bags, perfect sizes for what I need and I love the resealable packaging. Super easy to seal, I used my clothes iron to seal them closed. Will be reordering these when the time comes!

I really like this product for it's diverse sizes and ease of use. I have since purchased another package. I obviously use them for putting up foot in my dry pantry, but I also use them in my freezer as well. I will purchase again.

I started freeze drying about 3 months ago. In my quest for knowledge about mylar, I have purchased five or six different brands and types of bags, in all different thicknesses. This includes a brand that people have recommended quite often that gets very good reviews on Amazon, and a brand that I got from our local outdoor store (think fishing, camping, hiking, etc). I think these Glare Grey bags are awesome. They are very thick and sturdy, perfect for my use, which is a disaster preparedness kit. I want my food to last for a long time. The three sizes are helpful in determining what types of things can go into which size bag. I've used the little ones for homegrown hot peppers (small quantity for batches of salsa), single servings of dried eggs, freeze- dried butter powder and smaller amounts of freeze-dried candy for stockings. The gallon size are good for family size servings like spaghetti or chili. And the quart size are perfect for single serve meals or anything that won't fit into the smallest one or the gallon size. The quart are the size I use most of and I am about to order a 100 pack of just that one size. The inclusion of 400 cc oxygen absorbers and labels is a bonus. I did have to do some research on what size oxygen absorber goes into what size bag, and the 400cc are perfect for quart. You would need two to four of those for the gallon size, depending on what's in it, and perhaps a 300cc or smaller for the 4x6 bags, again, depending on what's in it. The cherry on top for these bags is that they are gusseted. This means that they stand up when you are pouring food in, and it makes you more accurately decide if it is the size of bag that you want to use. Sorry I was so long-winded, but I really do like this product.

These bags were very easy to use. They are stiff enough to stand up and fill. I appreciated the different sizes so I could vary the amounts of stored food - which Is important. They seal tightly and the labels are high quality and stick well.

The sizes and strength of the mylar bags are great. I like the ziplock tops so you have an option to reseal after the heat seal (used for long term storage) is broken. However... they need to label the Oxygen Absorbers with how many cc they are, and... they need to package them in packs of 5 instead of all in one big bag since you are usually not going to use them all at once. You will have to guess how many to place into your bags of food since they don't tell you the cc per pack.

The truth is, when I bought them and they arrived, I wasn't very convinced by the small ones. I felt they wouldn't be of much use to me, but that's not the case. They come in the different sizes described, and the small ones helped me store cookies and nuts. They definitely work very well, and the material is durable. After storing my food, I sealed the top with a hair straightener, and they sealed upon contact with heat.
