Excellent Monitor – Bright, Sleek & Reliable
This is one of the best monitors we’ve purchased. The Dell S2725HS 27" FHD display is very bright and clear, and the 100Hz refresh rate makes everything look smooth and responsive. The design is sleek and modern, which gives a clean and professional look to any workspace. We’ve purchased around 20 of these over time for our setup, and we’ve never had any issues with performance or reliability. Great picture quality, solid build, and dependable for long-term use. Highly recommended for office or business environments.

Easy Setup, Solid Display, Excellent Price
I bought this monitor for my MacBook Air M2 as an extended display, and it works perfectly. The display quality is solid, and I use it for both work and occasional YouTube watching. The sound output is also strong. It was easy to assemble, came in neat packaging, and overall offers excellent value for the price.

Outstanding Choice For Budget Minded Buyers
This review is for the S2725HS 27in model. This is a very nice, high value, well featured monitor. Very well thought out and designed, and certainly a complete package sort of item in its budget friendly segment. Aside from its clear and vibrant picture with good color accuracy and contrast ratio, its the extras here not found on many other monitors in this segment that set it apart. It features a fully adjustable stand that can be easily set for height, tilt, angle (swivel), and also rotate 180 degrees. It's base is anti-slip, which adds even more stability to an already sturdy set up. Two HDMI ports mean you can seamlessly connect two devices to the monitor, which is very nice for the casual gamer such as myself. And its built in speakers are very good for what they are. The unit lacks USB ports, a headphone jack, and has no audio in/out features otherwise. But given the quality of the audio, the less demanding user won't miss separate speaker options. The audio output quality is on par with popular, basic 2.0 computer speakers on the market today, if not quite as crisp. They're simply a convenient alternative to have, whether you want a less cluttered set up, an alternative to your current external speakers, or need an additional audio source for a connected device. As for myself, it was the former and latter. I have a very small space to work with and added a game console to it. I wanted to upgrade my aging and average monitor to go with, and this monitor made it all plug and play, no additional hardware or wiring needed. Two HDMI ports for laptop and game console, acceptable built in speakers for said game console, and it was a wrap. Simple, space efficient, and easy. I like that. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy about this monitor, and its attractive and a bit stylish. It has nice cable management touches, and a fair enough range of adjustability concerning its set up and physical footprint. Considering its a standard FHD monitor with a 27in display, it also doesn't lack clarity or sharpness concerning its 81ppi count. It is a good, colorful, and even vibrant panel in its segment with nice clarity and good viewing angles. If you are obsessed about perfectly sharp text and inspect it with the macro lens on your cellphone to verify it meets personal standards, don't get this. Otherwise its more than fine for us regular folks. And the "Eye Comfort" rating is no joke or gimmick. It may sound silly but this monitor is almost relaxing to look at. It never bothers, strains the eyes, or fatigues. Easy to sit before and task with for hours at a time. Good value, quality build, stylish looks, acceptable built in audio, quality panel, and easy to live with. I could have done so much worse and am glad I didn't. Very solid, budget friendly choice.

GREAT BUY
I’m extremely happy with my Dell 27-inch monitor! The display is bright, sharp, and crystal clear, making it perfect for work, gaming, and streaming. The colors are vibrant and true to life, and the large screen gives plenty of space for multitasking. It was easy to set up, and the adjustable stand makes it very comfortable to use. The build quality feels solid and premium, just what you’d expect from Dell. Excellent value for the price—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality monitor!

A+ for Windows, B+ for Macbook Air
Outstanding monitor for the money. Speakers sounds great, and the 1080p resolution with 100hz frame rate and comfortable screen met my needs too. Excellent ergonomics too. And looks good on the desk. And even has a spot in the back for a streaming stick if that is your thing. Awesome with my work Windows laptop. Would buy again. Very happy with this monitor. The *one* inconvenience is my Macbook Air’s limited compatibility with non-Apple monitors. My setup is a *closed* M1 MacBook Air, hooked up to an HP usb-C dock, hooked up to the monitor via HDMI. While the picture is good, three control issues result: 1. No default monitor brightness control other than the physical button on the monitor itself 2. No default monitor volume control other than the physical button on the monitor itself 3. Cannot use “Hey Siri” when MacBook Air top is closed even if you use an external mic All of this is because of Apple’s walled garden business model. Apple, please improve compatibility with third party monitors. But Dell did a good job. No non-Apple monitor manufacturer could have done any better, I think. Dell has made an excellent monitor, hence still the 5 star review. Bravo Dell. For any Apple owners still reading, well I have found partial workarounds for the brightness and volume control - there’s a third party MonitorControl application available for download on GitHub - but use at your own risk because it’s freeware, and don’t expect perfection or convenience. I had to fiddle with the MonitorControl config a ton and even after that while the brightness is changeable via customized hotkeys I set up, unfortunately I can only change volume with mouse and sliders on the screen. As for using “Hey Siri” with the lid down, well there is no workaround for that other than opening the lid, at least for my MacBook Air M1 setup mentioned above. In conclusion, this monitor is awesome for Windows or even a small streaming stick as long as you are cool with 1080p (I am), but Mac owners realize you might be in for some inconveniences. I’m still happy with the monitor, though. It has everything I need despite the Apple quirks, and I can deal with the quirks when the alternative is shelling out an extra $1000+ for an Apple display or different computer.

Disappointing product especially with such a high brand name. The screen resolution is poor.

Excellent display! I am in love with the fluid design, the elegance. You would notice the FHD resolution if you have been working on a MacBook for a long time since the is a downgrade to the quality. But overall, for $170 it’s worth the size and quality. I use it with a Mac mini and it is an absolutely gorgeous setup. Highly recommend it!

I'm a law student and I needed a monitor to hook up to my laptop so I could have dual screens. This monitor has been great -- great size, really clear screen (I watch shows on it as well and it's as clear as a TV), good sound, and it's very aesthetically pleasing. I also love that it is height adjustable! Would definitely recommend.
