Moleskine Art Sketchbook, Hard Cover, Large (5" x 8.25") Plain/Blank, Sapphire Blue, 104 Pages

This was the perfect size for what I needed! Great value for the money!

Bought this book for a drawing class I'm taking, this was the recommended book. I love the quality and the thickness of the pages. I draw with pencil and even harsh lines erase very well off the pages. Great sketchbook.

I love sketching in Moleskine, the paper has a nice feel to it and doesn't bleed.

Perfect size for my zentangle art. Notes and important drawings. Im filling them for my Grandchildren. Perfect paper for paint, markers, ink, and color! Love them.

I bought several of these. They’re my go to Sketchbook/Journal. They help me tremendously with my own therapy. They’re the perfect size to put in a cardio pant Pocket. I can do without the foo foo mission statement. The pages are very thick. Sharpie markers will bleed through. Highlighters won’t. Overall an amazing value at basically half price what you pay at a physical store.

Classic sketchbook with good paper He is ultra picky and can’t abide spiral notebooks or perforated pages, as he draws across a two page spread at times. The paper handles fountain pen ink from extra fine and fine nib pens without troubles. We haven’t tried broader nibs. Will continue to buy these.

I really liked this book, and it met my expectations in every way except for one. It has no perforations to allow you to remove the artwork you produce. I know the intent is likely that you would just use it as a sketchbook to keep a lot of quick sketches in over time. It serves that purpose very well. I just prefer to have the ability to pull out a page if I get lucky enough to produce a piece I really like. I would recommend it though without hesitation as a great sketchbook for the media I mentioned, ink, pencils, markers, and colored pencils. I think it should say somewhere in the description that the pages are not removeable.

Can’t go wrong with moleskin. It’s a top quality product.

Mein 2.Moleskine Skizzenbuch :) Mein erstes war die schwarze Version, ich habe mir diesmal die blaue bestellt. Das ganze ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, sieht elegant aus und man kann es fast überall hin mitnehmen, egal ob in dem Rucksack oder einer Kleiner Tasche. Das Cover schützt die Blätter perfekt vor dem verknicken. Das Papier ist extrem glatt und angenehm und man kann das buch auch flach aufschlagen falls man auf eine Doppelseite malen will (man muss die zwei seiten anfangs ein wenig runterdrücken aber dann bleiben sie auch so). Man kann dieses Skizzenbuch für viele verschiedenen Sachen benutzen; aber es ist dennoch nicht für alles geeignet! (Das ist aber fast garkein Skizzenbuch) Meiner Meinung nach eignen sich normale Buntstifte, Graphit, Fineliner, Textmarker/Filzstifte und Alkohol Marker wie Copics am besten. Stifte gleiten sanft über das Papier und es ist sehr angenehm darauf zu arbeiten. Filzstifte, Fineliner, Textmarker etc. Drücken nicht auf die andere Seite des Papiers durch. Copic Marker bzw. Alkoholische Marker drücken durch und sind auf der Rückseite des Blattes sichtbar, das ist aber fast bei jedem Marker-Papier der fall (da marker auf dickerem Papier zwar nicht durchdrücken, aber mehr Tinte aus dem Marker ziehen was ihn schneller leer macht) Geeignet sind auch noch Acrylfarben, das blatt wellt sich zwar minimal dabei, aber wenn man das Buch schliesst wird es nach ein paar stunden glatt. Kohle und Ölpastellfarbrn sind auch geeignet, aber es ist ein wenig schwer mit Ihnen auf so glattem Papier zu arbeiten. Aqurell-/Wasserfarben und Gansai Farben sind zu nass um in diesem Buch benutzt zu werden. Das Papier wellt sich und fängt nach ein paar schichten an sich aufzulösen. Alles in einem würde ich es sehr empfehlen :)

As promised

Sachant qu'un carnet de croquis Moleskine se vend au moins à 17 euros en magasins. Là c'est clairement moins cher ! J'en ai acheté 3 pour le coup ! Il y a toutes les caractéristiques d'un Moleskine habituel. Le papier est très lisse et laisse des petites peluches de papiers lorsqu'on efface trop sur une partie. Très bien pour l'encre, mais je n'ai pas essayé le stylo plume.

Sketchbook came wrapped and in good condition, but when I unwrapped it I found that the back was dirty. Not sure what that’s about. Paper itself is good for paper and pencil obviously. Works decently with posca markers (water based) as well, a little pilling (??) of the paper but also, I know the watercolour sketchbook was an option and that’s on me for not buying that one. That aside, the paper is smooth, cream-coloured, and thick- almost like thin cardboard. Pretty happy with this overall.

Quaderno con elastico e pagine senza righe ne quadretti proprio come serviva a mia figlia per scuola, le pagine sono di grammatura grossa perfette. Arrivato in tempi super brevi come al solito. Perfetto
