E-Z Ink is the best ink for my Canon MX870. Great Price compared to buying Canon Ink. I wish that I would have known about this ink brand a lot earlier. Spent way to much money on Canon Ink, all the printer brands make you think that you have to use THEIR ink and any other ink would be poor quality. Well they are DEAD WRONG!!! they just want to make a lot of money off their ink, which is exactly the same as E-Z ink, so don't be FOOLED into buying the brand ink. I couldn't believe the amount of money I saved buying the E-Z brand ink for my Canon MX870.

i was spoiled for a few years every cartridge purchased no matter the source worked out for me. then the last two batches half the printer wouldn't be recognize. of course this time it was black. *if you don't have every slot filled with a cartridge the printer can 'see' it won't print anything no matter the settings.i ordered these and hoped they'd work out. they arrived on time but the item was a little too big to fit into our po box. important to know for those wanting to steer clear of post office lines during the pandemic. that said i opened the first cartridge. *TIP have a piece tissue or tp handy. roll the paper up thicker and dab the bottom where the ink pad is located. i do it a couple times to soak up the extra ink before putting it in.once inserted the printer had no problem seeing the new tank and worked just as it should. the print quality looks just fine no issues whatsoever. i will continue to buy this brand so long as they are available. obviously i would recommend these ink tanks to anyone needing refills especially so at this price point.

This ink is great for general printing. My printer Canon printer seems quite happy - no error messages until the ink gets a bit low....then you have to ignore them for a month, or, put in a new cartridge because this ink is cheap!I have found that the unadjusted color photo printing is way off. It is possible to tweek the colors (if you have a reasonable photo print program), and you can soon find a combination that gives a good print after wasting a bit of photo paper. So you are still saving a lot of money.

I bought the black ink for MX870 with some suspicion. But it is so cheap so no risk to try. After receiving it, I gently opened the cartridge with the opening up. No spill. Then I took a picture of the cartridge with the original, very similar. Put it into the printer and made a black/white copy of a color page. Very satisfactory results. See the pictures.

So far, so good. My cartridges arrived in good condition, and despite some warning here about wearing gloves to change them, I had no spill issues. Just use some common sense and hold the cartridge with the printer port “up” when you remove the orange protective cover. There was a very small amount of ink on the port, dabbed it with a paper towel, and installed the cartridge.I was a fan of the Sophia cartridges, but the E-Z Ink seem to be just as good, and just as cheap!! Great alternative to the overpriced Canon units!!

I have been using EZ Ink for a few years now and find their quality equal to Canon at a very value oriented price. I have gotten both Color and black and have had no issues.

These cartridges are good quality for printing, but in this order, one of the four had the snap clip broken in the package. This is the first problem with this brand, but the product was damaged before it was placed in the wrapping and should have been caught in quality control before shipping. Without the snap clip it cannot be used in the printer.

I’ve used these for about a year and have no complaints, problems, or issues. They seem to be completely compatible with my Canon printer and provide a high quality printout for my needs.

Slotted it in into my MP620 printer. The Printer indicated the cartridge is empty. Pressed Stop button for 10 seconds. The printer reset and was then ready for printing.Print output is crisp and sharp.

Unfortunately all 4 ink cartridges weren't recognized by my printer. Reading the reviews, it seems like other's have the same issues as well.
