What a beautiful and elegant journal! I honestly only have good things to say about this. Usually I'm not a fan of any lettering or icons on the front but the single lone bee in gold looks great. It comes with a free grid guide but personally I don't really think that adds much but some might like it. The dotted pages are lovely and thick at 160 GSM which should prevent most pen bleeds except for the leakiest of pens. It also has an elastic cord that helps keep it shut so you don't need to worry about pages getting bent inside your bag.It's so pretty it almost feels like a crime to write in it. At £19.99 it's priced quite high but the quality is there. If you're looking for something special then this is it.

Cute bee! I like this notebook a lot so far. It feels like the design, stitching, and the actual paper are all of good quality. 160gsm is great for everything from note-taking to calligraphy to sketching, with the paper being subtly textured and able to hold a variety of inking and coloring tools. I consider it a bonus that the leather of the cover is vegan, but it is the kind of material to attract dust very easily (which is a little icky). The notebook has bookmarks too and lots of other thoughtful little features (my first time seeing numbered pages in a notebook).

It’s a decent notebook, but the cover is a magnet for dirt and dust. Otherwise, it’s a great quality notebook

This Yop & Tom Bullet Dotted Journal with a Bee on the cover would make a lovely gift for an artist or writer or fan of Bees. At current price of almost $25, it is not cheap but this is a very well-made book and the high quality of the materials and assembly seems worth the cost.The "vegan" (aka not real) leather is actually quite nice--it feels as smooth as genuine leather and looks pretty real. The black color does tend to show smudges, but they also seem to wipe off nicely so far. This journal has really good-quality, thick pages, which are numbered (up to page 153.) I do not think you would have trouble with writing showing/bleeding through on the back side.The pages are "dotted" which means that all the "blank" inner pages are covered with a pale grey grid pattern of dots (hopefully you can see what they are like in picture 2) and with a plus sign right in the middle of the grid. I assume some artists like this dotted grid to keep things aligned when you are using a ruler to draw lines or columns, or for scale measurements. At first, I was thinking I would have preferred that the pages be all white, but I may end up preferring the dots as I use the book and see how they can help make a layout tidier and more professional looking. Pic 6 (which I took from the Yop and Tom Amazon page) shows how the dots can help you make a really nice, straight layout on the page.There are two ribbon book marks (pic 3), an elastic band that keeps the cover closed, and a generous manilla-folder-type-paper-material pocket inside the back page (pic 4.) I tried to fill that up with about 7 full size 8.5x11" pages (folded into quarter size to fit) then closed the book to see how bulky it got--(see pic 5.)All in all this is a high-quality product, with much attention to detail, and it shows in the very satisfactory end-product!

High quality thick paper, pages are numbered, sturdy cover and an accordion pocket in the back. The golden bee on the front is gorgeous! Perfect as an art journal or daily journal. Love that there’s a bold dot marking center page. An absolute must have for the bee lover in your life! Very pleased!
