Mattel Games MAGIC 8 BALL SUPER MARIO

I'm an overgrown 80s/90s child (and "sort of" adult), so this combination of Magic 8 Ball plus classic Mario made this purchase the best $7 I've ever spent! And the messages are customized to Mario, not the generic "try again later." And not just fun and cute, but well made. Thumbs way up!!

I bought this as a birthday present for a Super Mario fan and won the day. He loves it and currently makes all his decisions based on its predictions. The toy is durable (survived several falls already) and sturdy. Overall, the Super Mario Magic 8 Ball is a fun little gift for fans of the game.

Nice thought but the words are near impossible to read unless under direct bright light. She still likes it tho.

This was a super cool idea. Had to knock 1 star off tho. On the packaging, it shows Mario-ified answers, but the actual answers are just standard magic 8 ball answers.

Was very excited when I saw this, as I wanted a low-cost, 'fun' gift for a co-worker who is a gamer. Was a big hit with her as well as other people. Very clever!

So you ask a yes/no question, shake the magical device and wait for the die to float up to the top and tell you the message that is your answer. But the die ends up on a ridge instead of a flat side so you try to tilt the thing to get it to flatten, and most of the time it is a Mario variation on the classic phrases, but just in a weird Mario voice accent way. And the whole Mario having a voice thing doesn't match back when these pixelated blocks first came into existence, so that's a little weird, but sure why not. It's a toy meant for kids, and I, a grown adult, purchased it for myself. I shouldn't have expected ancient Mario references I guess. But as far as the whole functionality, it's just not great, and I'm sad about it - not sad enough to return it. But still sad.

Super cool, makes a nice present for Super Mario lovers. I got hooked playing with it myself while driving to the birthday party 😹

My daughter just turned 8 and asked for a Mario themed birthday party. When she opened this gift, her eyes widened and she became so excited! She loves that the phrases are in a Mario accent and that it's not shaped like, "a normal 8 ball". Cool decoration too!

This is a Magic 8 ball shaped as a question block from Super Mario. An absolute gem of a gift for your inner child/inner nerd. Absolutely love it!

Really cool it's actually alot bigger then I thought it was so I was surprised! My 11 year old is a huge mario fan hes added this to his collection:)
